Our kids love a ‘night time’ walk! Literally 6pm in the winter but to them it feels exciting! Could just be to the shop and back!😂
Walks always turn out to be adventures! Haha my house is filled with dried leaves and rocks (tokens) which we ended up painting! Will try an evening walk that’s awesome
Go Noodle also has some dancing and fun for younger kids! For slightly older kids like 11,12,13 a nice walk is a good workout and you can get some tea or something on the way! My kids also love sushi go!
Can't believe how much the boys have grown up especially Jackson. Been here from the beginning of his little life so it's lovely to see
I first watched you when I just pregnant 2017. I remember I was so lonely beucase I just moved to USA but can you believe that u were the only friend I had while watching. I watched on every single videos of urs and 10 times each video ahha sound funny but even my husband was so happy that I got my favorite show , becuase he was worried if I can be stress of being lone in the new town . I just feel like we connected . Until now I have two kids and still find your videos so comforting for me. Love you .
Thank you so much! What I love the most is your focus: having fun together! There are so many videos that concentrate on how to cope as a parent and how to raise (read: control the behaviour) the kids. We need these too, but I think the most important thing is at least once a day to have some fun together. It makes all the other things so much easier beacause you already have created a contact with your child - your child likes you and wants you to like him/her too because of such moments.
Lovely ideas!! 😍 thank you Emily, I have been focusing on setting the chores for later and dedicating time to have more fun with my family.
Great tips, thank you. We did our first day today with my 4 year old and she absolutely loved it!
Awesome video! Thank you Emily 😊 My daughter's are 2 & 4 years. I'll definitely use these tips that works from their age. They love when it rains. We go out with rain jackets and boots and splash in the puddles. No need to be inside 😆
This is an area I struggle with, so thank you so much for these tips!
Thank you. These ideas are so good! Especially for half term plus there's a cyclone approaching Mauritius, where we live, so it'll be great to do all of these indoors! You always give the best tips and hacks!
You are such amazing mom, I love you and your family so much. I always recommend my friends to watch your program, it's really helpful with our life activities.
You doing great job. Many thanks xx
Thank you for these ideas! Some brilliant ideas for older ones and little ones. my little boy loves playdough so I think he would enjoy making his own! :)
My son (who’s now 35!) loved rainy day picnics on the living room floor with a favourite video (VHS in those days!) to enjoy together. I put a blanket down on the floor and use the picnic kit to put lunch or dinner out. We still need to try out with the grandchildren!
Another tip is to make up powder poster paint with a spot of washing up liquid added to the water. It makes bathtime afterwards so much easier and cleaning up the equipment too. xxxxx
My favorite video in a while! Love all these suggestions my little girl is 3 so I’ll adjust them for her but I’m always wanting to be more “fun”!
This is great! I also think being spontaneous! If you usually say no to something or you think it’s too late to go out etc then just do it!! Maybe even plan it beforehand lol which kinda stops it being so spontaneous but you know what I mean 😂😂 xx
Absolutely looove the tips! Amazing! Thank u so much!❤
This is one of my favourite videos you have ever made and I love all your videos. Please more like this!! 😊
You are one amazing mum Emily and a great inspiration to so many young mums. This has been one of my favourite watches. I look after my grandson and am always wondering how to keep him occupied as his siblings are older 15 years, he is like an only one. 4 years old. Thank you so much for these tips.
Love this ❤ thank you so much for the awesome inspo
Thanks so much Emily for all of these wonderful ideas! I get so busy with work and cleaning I forget to even have fun / enjoy spending time with my 3 girls! I’m so inspired by your video and can’t wait to try out these tips! I know my girls will appreciate me making an effort to spend time with them ❤ great ideas and always so inspiring Emily! This was really informative, thanks Emily :)
Great ideas. Perfect for half-term thank you x
I wasn’t sure I was going to like this video (I worry I’m no fun with my kids) but I actually really enjoyed it. Lots of good tips that I think my kids will love. Thank you x
Loved this! Thanks for sharing!
I love your ideas, Emily! I immediately ordered this book, I know my kids will love it! 😊 We'll also try out all the other suggestions! My eldest just turned 6 and he loves Uno, we play it all the time 😃 My kids love when we bake together, when we play toys on the floor and when we play loud music and dance 😃
Shoo Raynor has the most fantastic drawing tutorials - Draw Real Easy
Love this video. Thank you for your tips. X
Love this video. So many great ideas. Do most of them with the kids (14,11&4) but some new ones I’m going to try. Once a year we take a midnight trip to gaze at stars at a remote location. And also if there is something special in the sky. They love it.
Amazing idea. Thank you 💝
Perfect ideas thank you, this was much needed !
Loved this video! 🙌🏼👏🏼 we also do yes days and it’s so fun!
Love these ideas! Thank you!
I really love this video Emily. I heard something recently (on a related note) that stuck with me. It was to find opportunities for mischief with your children every day😊
Love the tips so much❤❤❤
I really love this video. Tq so much for the tips! Please share more videos like this. ❤
Love this really useful thanks x

You are an amazing mom!!! Love this great video 😘😘
Excellent as always😉♥️

Hi Emily, I have three boys too and I loved all these ideas! I’ll be using these over half term xx
Love it!
Brilliant tips thank u 🙏🏻 might give that book you mentioned a go too, about raising boys 🙌🏻👍
Aw I love this video so so much! With younger boys it's perfect to get all of the ideas to build a good bond with them x
how i love u girl u r very productive person
Thanks for the ideas, Emily! I was about to order the fort and it's unavailable oh no
Thankyou for this Emily ❤️
We always make play doh. But haven’t tried slime home made yet, I thought we had to use borax powder and can never get hands on it. X
Hope you have Fabulous time on holiday 🥰🤩
I noticed than there are a lot of old footage that you always use in your videos especially this one. I would love to know how do you organize your computer files to find the older footage easily. Do you tag every single video clip with tags to find easily or is there something else I am not thinking of. It would be very helpful to know. 😊😊
Fab video! I want to be the fun mumma! Where's the pop corn maker from?? I've only ever seen them on American films haha
I love this! I’m in a parenting program that talks about being in child ego state more than parent ego state. And I need All the help! Also I can only hear out of left headphone FYI
Great video I’m a nightshift nurse so I can be extremely exhausted other way to say it lol! But on my days if we always have fun together x
9:20...more info about this book please... I went to Audible but there are few.. 🙏Thanks
Hi Emily, thank you so much for the ideas! I just wanted to let you know that some of the links only go to the Floor is Lava game. So without watching the video, I am not sure what a dobble is.
I'm watching all your old vlogs right now because I miss them. I have the feeling that there are hardly any videos like this anymore
Great ideas! I need to be more intentional with my family of boys. My only question is, how do you keep them from arguing, throwing fits, and ruining family time? We have an ADHD/easily angered/super sensitive 10yo, probably autistic 7yo, and a know-it-all, teasing teenager. Often, we don’t want to bother trying to do anything fun, because it ends with everyone yelling. 😞 Anyone have any tips?
i am in the exact same boat with my 3 same ages too everything always just feels so hard. but i want to be more fun!
I don't have kids, but what works with my god-daughters and their mother is when she spends some time separately with one and then the other. E.g. she would go to children's theatre on Saturday morning with the older one and go on a (really small) hike with the younger one the next day. I hope this gives an idea..
So good, loving and refreshing.
Do you also have suggestions like this for more younger kids? Like 1,5 - 2 year olds
Me and my boys (2 and 4 years) always do gardenwork and art experiments with me and roll play with dad. They love to do experiments all kind and acting a roll.
Sometime we put the bed up so they can "roll-down-the-hill" in bed.
Absolutely loved all these tips! I do many of these tips anyway but really enjoyed this video. with my little ones the tickle torture test would be hiliarious as if you even pretend to tickl them they find it hilarious🤣
Cornstarch and water makes "ooblek"!!
Colour brain is a good bored game it’s we’re you work in teams to get points by trying to guess colours on different items weather it’s brands or character or something else cx
This was just what I needed! Having a 3 and a half year old who loves mischief at the moment and I feel like a mom with a stick up my bum because I'm taking care of her 1 year old sister and mommy is a grouch most days😫
I was curious if school starts at a different age in the UK (in my country preschool is typically at age 6 and school at 7) or when you had all your boys (newborn, 3 y-o, 6 y-o ages) were you home with them or did the older boys go to nursery/preschool? Reason being, I'd love a third kiddo but I'm thinking on waiting until our eldest is about to start school so then our now youngest would be like 4,5-5 years old. I somehow don't want to have 3 and they be at kindergarten at the same time 😅 idk. Dropping off and picking up two kids from kindergarten seems like enough of a job for one parent with only two hands. But I was curious how you did it 'cause for the life of me I can't recall (I did watch your channel way Back when Jackson was maybe two) 🤔
💞💞💞👍
I’m really struggling with my mental health because of years of abuse in my previous marriage, I’m worried about not being present or positive enough around my kids, does anyone have advice on how to be a fun mom when your struggling mentally
My tip would be dont put pressure on yourself to be a fun mum as that will only make you feel worse. Get therapy for you mental health and work on your mental health slowly. In turn as your mental health improves you will become a more relaxed and happy mum xx
This video couldnt have come at a better time! Im watching while my 5year old son cries about getting a ps4 after we got him a ps3 and this debate has been going on for a year
Hi. Does anybody know what brand Emily's trampoline is?? My daughter's birthday soon and she would love that. It looks very safe. Thanks
🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Mom? You haven't lived in Canada for years 🤣 your kids don't call you Mom 🙄
I love all these ideas and already do a few that work well. Really have to vouch for movie night and breakfast for dinner! Always a huge success. I really want to try a "yes" day but I love what you suggested on giving them options I am already willing to do so it is still partly fun for me too. My kids have asked for a YES day before, but I feared the worse because of the trend and movie LOL. my kids will thank you for this video
From all the videos I have watched, you and Mat have always been an active, together family. Your boys clearly know they have a voice in your home, are valued and loved. What great messages to take with them when they grow into adults x
Ah thank you for a lovely comment Sally 🥰😘
