Nah, actually such type of questions are used to be asked in olden days - like until 2005. Not only in UPSC but job interviews of many companies. Luckily UPSC removed those, but still some private companies ask such things.

If, by the rule of the special theory of relativity, by time dilation ... If that girl born in space and launched from the earth with a really high velocity (>.5c) then she can spend (travel) 1 year in space and then return to the earth...after 8 years (with respect of the earthlings) then she was 1 year old by her clock...but 8 years old by the earth.

A leap year comes every 4 years but is avoided in century years unless the century year is divisible by 400. 1896+4=1900 (end of century year not divisible by 400 so it missed February 29th).

Ya it is very difficult not possible toughest exam in india and know we want to know ethics politics economy, geography , current affairs, chemistry, physics, biology, numerically maths and IQ important want to write long essays for three hours and our language ,then comes English ,opylionals two papers after all 7 or more exam for mains and two for prelims and we want to eminent in all these and want to look for syllabus which gives that time and history is well important I loosed it bcz of these reason and
