#79 Tractor Cab Tour, John Deere 3 Series.

- This is a video tractor cab tour of my Johne Deere 3046R compact tractor which is a John Deere 3 Series tractor. I'll explain the instruments and control functions inside the cab, then I'll show how the cab is setup to take video with my GoPro 7 and DJI Mavic Air, and Mavic Pro 2 Zoom drones. I just purchased a brand new 3046R (with cab) today. Delivery will be in a few days. This video was great for repetitious reminders on what all the controls are inside the cab. This has helped me become familiar with all the features so that I'm not out in the middle of the field and wondering what control I need to use to activate a function. I really don't care about how to operate a drone or mount cameras because it's not part of the tractor....but the main body of this video is second to none. Thank you for a great video.

@@maraudermitchelli ... Do they only offer one stereo option? After I saw that yours has the Bluetooth, I'm hoping that mine does also. I did order the stereo option and I was just wondering if there is supposed to be a second option with Bluetooth, or if Bluetooth is standard on the stereo???
@@sonataq14 they have stereos without Bluetooth. The sound is bad, but it is nice taking phone calls with the stereo. Landpro usually stocks the stereos if you need to change....but it is a covid world. Because i'm usually filming i rarely listen to the stereo.

Dean I'm struggling to walk still having problems with my knee. I'm not sure I'll be able to use any machine. I'm feeling down and trying to be optimistic.

I had my John Deere regen in my yard where no grass would grow and in a few weeks there was a thick layer of grass about up to my waist.
That's interesting...I wonder if the heat helped the grass to germinate. Happy new year thank you for sharing be safe.

Best tour of the 3 series John Deere i could find. How tall is your garage door and does your tractor easily fit through it?
Snicky B thank you 😊 my door is 95”, my strobe clears and I believe a can fit a 4 series inside. Measure your door opening and your tractor. My tractor has the larger tires...stay green and I’m glad you enjoyed the video.

If you get tired of having to pull the button up to back up you can program it so it won't shut off. I did it to my 2038r didn't have to cut, splice, or touch one connector or wire.

CZcams channel Mud Cruiser used the Insta 360 camerra on one video it was amazing, not sure he ever used it again. Let me know how he likes it, I’m not sure how it mounts to a machine MC had it on a pole.

GoPro Fusion takes a while to stitch. I think an Insta360 One X would be a better choice. Watch a few reviews on it on youtube and then make your choice.

Gota watch again so I can figure out where to my mobile ham radio. Have you had any issues of water getting in the exhaust pipe ?
Tractor is outside for 9 months no issue with water...when it starts it puffs white smoke then dissipates, it shows in some of the videos whether inside or outside. Thank you for commenting.

I have the same tractor. There's a lever under the joystick. Do you know what that is? Also, how do we free float our front end loader?
I believe the lever under the joystick you are referring to locks the joystick. i usually hit it with my knee and it takes a while for me to figure it out. You float the loader by pushing the stick all the way towards the front to the tractor, you'll feel a slight detent continue pushing forward. I only float the loader when snowplowing. That deal under your seat ya don't know what's it. I seen it move when you release air from the seat and it moved again when you filled it back up
I know...what the heck does it do. Maybe it's a seat gauge that you can only look at outside the tractor lol.

Do you have trouble with your mower deck bleeding down?
I would say it’s trouble, but if I park the tractor with the deck up, in a day it will settle to the mowing height. Thank you 😊 for watching
Will your tractor with cab fit in normal height garage??
My garage door height is 94.5” and it clears with a low profile strobe. A 4 series will not fit in my garage. Don’t trust the specs measure the machine and your ohd opening. Thank you for commenting 😊 stay healthy!

Just ordered the 3046R with factory cab and other options. Quite a bit lower here (Denver area) than what you have been quoted.
@@ryoule Thanks for the Reply, Just got My 3046R Pretty well Full Load and got My Son a 3033R Loaded pretty Much the Same, Rear Frontier Blades, also, came to $109162.20, Shithouse Taxes and $ Diff really Kills Ya but Pair of Dam Fine Tractors! So Nice to be in where its Warm!
