it does cost extra money tho, but I'm just letting you know that it is an add on so it doesn't "come" w/ the iPad itself. When I ordered my apple pencil and iPad, the apple pencil came first ;)
If you get the wifi version only, you’ll need a wifi connection in order to use internet on your iPad. Now if you get the wifi + cellular, you can use the iPad without wifi however you should have a cellular data plan on in order to use the internet anywhere.
It is definitely worth the wait! I waited 3 weeks for this one (and I've been using it for 6-7 months now) and it's been really useful! Imo, It helped me a lot with school and I needed an upgrade for drawing digitally! Getting the apple pencil was a great investment, bc now I can make better thumbnails lol and add animation to my videos (especially my bullet journal videos)! Anyways, I hope you enjoy your new ipad!

yess! So far it hasn't done any damage and it's been so helpful because it mimics the feel of paper :)

actually I think that's only possible when you get the iPad in WiFi + Cellular, but I got mine in just WiFi.

you can still clip the pencil to the iPad, but unlike the second gen apple pencil, it doesn't charge once it clips.
