I love how you give us a glimpse into your life without oversharing. The way CZcamsrs tend to overshare their personal lives makes one uncomfortable.

Yes chaotic is the right word for life in these big cities. There's just no peace but well what can we do because we need money so we need to go to such places to make a living at times. Thanks for the upload

I agree with you adjusting to American food is way difficult I tell you. The only thing I ate for a long time was bread and peanut butter. Back then there was nowhere to buy stuff that us Africans love to eat. Anyways if you like any suggestions on where you can buy foods that are somewhat close to what we have in Africa let me know

Hello Velile. Good to see that you and hubby are doing well overseas - Washington DC. It looks like the cost of living there is not cheap. Am looking at your dinner cost converting it to Rands! Yes dear take it step -by- step when buying furniture you will eventually get your apartment fully furnished. It seems like in America they are not BIG with customer service - why there is no one on the shop floors to assist the customers 🤔.Some of us have never been abroad or in the US. We might learn 1 or 2 things.Keep us updated and enjoy your stay over there.

I lobe South Africa more since I have been here. Today’s America is no longer this same as it was before. I have a story to tell one day on this channel. I am glad you love SA and will definitely keep in touch. 🙏🏾❤️

Great move Sis. I have lived in abt 6 cities different countries currently in UK. I always find gud guality at reasonable prices on Gumtree Ebay etc. Don't underestimate pawn shops and places like Gumtree not sure if they have that in the US. Its also a great way to connect with locals in your neighbourhood they will give you tips on living in the neighbourhood. All the best. I enjoy watching your videos and have started looking for rural land to invest back home because of your content.

  • @lovelineoutreachministries1914

You said it organic food is very expensive in the united states. I ate all organic food for sixty days in johannesburg. My complexion changed. My digestive system was super regulated. Lol, And I felt great!! Our food is totally fast food, And filled with a lot of chemicals, Pesticides, and Ingredients you can't pronounce. Going to the whole food store is your best option or a farmer's market. You can locate one outside of the city.

Wholefoods sis Velile is very expensive the dollars will add up .I would suggest you find other stores to buy from as there are many which are more cheaper. There is so much to buy you just need to find the stores ,deli ‘s and restaurants that you will enjoy once you get to know your area .The street food is also good.

America food is not good compare to SA. Shopping for high quality and low cost food is. game. Whole Foods cold press juice will really make your rands flame. smh I never get that stuff unless I'm in SA because it's extremely easy with US dollars. Shop wisely. When it comes to pharmacy's I suggest CVS. Ask the cashier about their "Extracare" rewards program. It costs about $10/month but provides more discounts than what I can can keep up with.
