What do you think about my build?
This build is awesome 👍🏾 you have me looking for a bandit now
@@UrbanLegendRC hey thanks. I had someone say who is really into racing tell me "The bandit is trash" Now I know its not some $1000 Associated racer but it kinda hurt my feelings lol. So I set out to make this bandit worthy of being called a cool RC car! Thanks for the comment, I dropped you a sub!
@@MikesHobbyPlanet I totally understand and you have achieved your goal for sure. 👍🏾🤙🏾
Badd ass!!! 🤘
Can you tell how I can get those wheels for my Bandit?
They look great.
Bandit is extremely underrated
The binding is likely the fit. Between the a arms, and the castor block, or the bulkhead. Lightly sand the inside of each to take a little off by hand put everything back on without the shock to check for binding. If not that then you may have a bent shock shaft.
Thanks I'll try this
Mikes hobby I love u and Kevin Talbots channel so much ❤ I plan on getting a bandit for my birthday and upgrading it overtime
Thank you so much! That's awesome! You will like it, it's a fun car!
Great choice. Ive been racing rc for a while. Out the box for 200 bucks a bandit 2wd is a great car to enjoy. Not slow at all and you can program to half speed to learn it
Sweet build! I swear that car sounded like it was trying to take flight!
I know right
It's a rocket 👍
yes its fastttt
Thanks for the information on parts. Do you know if i can just use the stock transmission for the Bandit? Just order the rest you have listed.
Nice build! 😎 👍
I just setup one of my bandits for speedruns for my 8yr old who wants to learn how to do speedruns.
I used that same motor, the spectrum 3200kv. Just pushed 79mph on 3S & didn't get full throttle on it cuz it wants to flip 😂. I just may have to push it to 100mph+ lol.
Have fun with her & Keep'm Fast Bro 😎 👍
Thanks man! What gearing did you use? Sometimes I feel like my VXL is faster!
@@MikesHobbyPlanet I used Mod-1 gears, 24T pinion & 36T spur. I'm also using the Hobbywing Quicrun 3S ESC. I have a video posted on my channel of her, a 76mph run. The video was a bit crappy cuz I just got a new action camera & I've never used one on head before lol.
I bought a Bandit back in 2000 and it has the orange towards the front t and black and white cheker flag towards the rear. I am planning on upgrading it and upgrading it. It had a manual ESC. It was weird lol. Manual crazy lol.
Yep that's an old one! Just be cautious that upgrading to brushless potentially could fry your gears as they are older. Consider maybe opening up the differential and putting new grease. Or spend a few bucks and get a new replacement stock transmission, or the 275R from Traxxas, or the one I used in my build series. That could save you some headache down the road. I had a wrestler from the '90s that I put a brushless motor in and it made it about 10 ft in the grass before the gears melted lol.
@MikesHobbyPlanet I am going to put the Magnum 272R trans in her. Thank you for the Info. I really appreciate it.
Those gears aren't older. They are old as crap roflmfao
Wow, 10feet. That's was aggravating and a learning experience. Lol
@@GrandPitoVic lol!
Can you put a link in for that battery pack?
Very impressive run mike what lipo you running it on
I think I used one of Amazon lol
@@MikesHobbyPlanet nice have you heard of the hoo vo
yes I have some@@karlfortuin5794
Are those all terrain tires?
Possibly. I got them on Amazon. Just cheapo ones to get the job done.
What tires are those?
I think they're by hobby Park I got them off Amazon
