We drive along Route 12. Pueblo Edén is a small rural town that became famous several years ago when stylist Roberto Giordano, an Argentinian celebrity bought land in there and started talking about it in his fashion shows. Nowadays it is a quiet place as it had previously been. It is about 30 kms (20 miles) to the beach and it is surrounded by hills.
The city of Punta del Este and its beaches are famous in South America. This is one of the best places you can find in Latin America for a summer vacation! No doubt it is a top destination.

Linda ruta panorámica, totalmente renovado el primer tramo. Pero si queres hacer una ruta panormámica de vértigo, hacete la ruta 29 entre Manuel Diaz (Ruta 5) y Minas de Corrales. Son unos 20 km daria para un buen video. Ahi estan las ruinas de la represa de Cuñapirú , sale otro video joya. Esa fue la primera represa hidroeléctrica de LATAM, creada para energizar las minas de oro.
