The new generation wouldn't neither understand nor appreciate this song... the kinda song you need to calm your nerves while you journey through LIFE.
Men of those days took time to be with God rather than rushing to studio. They hardly remix people's songs. May God help this generation of quick fix in everything.

I am absolutely trilled to find this song today. It brings so much feeling of nostalgia especially because as a young boy then in the choir, I played the local bass drum on this album and it was my first encounter in a professional recording studio. I was so petrified to say the least with a retinue of session men and Uncle Tokunbo Sotade as the recording engineer, the lead guitarist and I am sure he probably played the bass too. It was an honour to be with Blackman in the same studio. Thank you sir for the foundations you built in many young stars then like me. God bless you real good sir.

I heard Gbenga Adeboye's imitation of this song in 1991 before i heard the original uncle Akeem Akeeb today july 2023.
The song is very deep and i like when he called olu ijo mimo to help him.

This is a complete genre of music from Nigeria. I wonder if this genre is taken up by other up coming Nigeria musicians.
