We and ALL taxpayers paid for these roads. So if you pay for something, you own it. Nobody should pay parking fines,but I do admit that you should park in a sensible place. But the money goes in the corrupt councils coffers

At no point was he confrontational, nor was he authoritative, he was very fair, just wanting to try and make the roads etc safe for the rest of road users and pedestrians. This guy on the other hand, simply wanted a confrontation, yet, he was in the wrong !!! Abide by the restrictions, and there wouldn't be a need for wardens.

I'd pulled off the main road and next thing I'm being told what to do by some horrible little jobs worth mascarading as a council agent when in reality he works for a private corporation. Ticket men do not make the roads safe the generate revenue for corrupt councils. And as I stated here, they have no power.

If such a stance was adhered to, imagine the inconvenience to everybody else. Wheelchairs impeded, buses not able to get to the kerb, potentially causing injury.
