I just went to an anime con yesterday. I got Laws sword from One Piece, and the guy even gave me a discount. Everyone had his sword, but all at different proce ranges from 100 to 150. I found someone selling a battle ready one for 100 dollars, and i told him all i had to work with was 70, and he sold it to me for 70.

Yo lotus highly recommend dan da dan as a new pick up, 7 vols are out rn in english we're getting an anime later in the year and the newest vol comes out in july. Super funny and random and the art is top tier

Since you mention Flowers, if you haven't already I highly recommend watching the Flowers anime. The animation and pacing is much better and they really delivered on the standout moments. Hoping they do a Super Star anime next

I used to be into comic book collecting. I was big into collecting and reading Sonic the Hedgehog comics. I still have my collection, but boy, I did nottake a lot of care of some of these.
I binged Frieren in a week and god was that a great anime! I definitely want to cop as well but yea them vols are scarce ! T^T

6:50 my entire childhood movie collection. I grew up poor and was alone at home for a large amount of time. I didn't have cable, and i didn't have video games at the time, so i just watched movies over and over and over again. To this day i can't watch any of them without going through a play by play of every single scene before i even start the movie. The only exception to this rule is the live action speed racer
Love these videos Lotus! I agree about Frieren, I loved the anime a lot. Just bought all the volumes myself and they are still coming in. I really only buy manga if it is an anime that I really enjoy/resonate with so it is one of the 6 series that I actually have on my shelves. (If anyone is curious the series are Promised Neverland, JJK, Spy x Family, My Dress Up Darling, and Soul Eater. I am going to start working on getting Hunter x Hunter as well but that is going to take a while lol. Oh and Kaiju No.8 is quickly becoming a contender for the shelf as well.)

I think on top of dragonball being popular, the reason why Dragonball super's manga is out of stock or sold out and is hard to find is because v jump publish it and v jump doesn't publish that many copies compared to shonen jump which publishes way more copies

My creator got into collecting mangas since last year, she got all 21 volumes of DBS and recently picked up Jujitsu Kaisen vol. 0-18
how is the EN manga community rn? after the rightstuf news i kinda lost interest in the hobby and only collect old library copies. still on the yyh,hxh,slam dunk, soul eater grind. those shits were hard to find. maybe they had some restocks now since the covid manga boom

@@giostar9843 it shut down i think some time within the last 2 years. i think crunchyroll just sells all their stuff now. looks like the prices are mostly similar. but ppl hate crunchyroll shop.. (i have no problems w it, i just dont use it).
one thing that is somewhat unattractive to me is like for example, slam dunk vol 8 is 10USD but vol 15 is 12USD on crunchyroll. rightstuf didnt value the vols like that b4
for me personally, i just wonder if they are gonna do the same promotions as rightstuf. there were times where they would have big sales on banger manga for mad low (like those genre sales or all viz shounen discount, etc). u could expect a couple of those per month back then rlly
