Just looked into their current situation. I guess they stopped their family channel and started their own things. She's currently dating her former best friend's ex-husband. There's speculation that they were cheating before the divorce. This makes me think about all the amicable breakups ive had. My exes in those cases sat me down, explained their legitimate reasons for not continuing the relationship, and while hurt, i understood, and we agreed to respectfully go our separate ways. I can remember how upset they always were, because they knew how much it hurt me, and they cared deeply about me. Infact throwing or even punching something (not your spouse) is a hell of a lot better way to take out your frustration than hitting your spouse or bottling it up and eventually blowing your brains out. Totally, the moment she asked him to clarify that she wasn't cheating, I began thinking that she probably was and she just didn't want their audience to know so she could look like an angel. Because fr, who asks someone to say they're not cheating when they truly aren't.

Having had an ex try to pull the "Start being cold, distant and a little dismissive in the hopes of pushing me to be the one to break it off" thing, it's way more hurtful than just being told things aren't working. It's like seeing a part of your life, a person you trust and care for, change and you start to worry there's something you did, or they need some sort of help they don't seem to be able to find in you.
The really sad thing is that same ex tried to use me, multiple times, since then when she was herself feeling low, until I had to outright tell her I had completely lost interest in her well being and gained nothing in rekindling any sort of friendship.
