Put it on the Dyno with the turbo, and with the nitrous see if it spools the turbo better

Easy power upgrade is remove the barrel base gasket and then remove the base gasket thickness off top of piston just the exhaust port section and also remove reed valve restrictors or grind back a bit so can go wide open or upgrade them
I'd love to see some dyno numbers with the nitrous and the turbo setup combined but like always great video and keep sending it 🤙🤙

For a good injection technique use a tire air valve put it in backwards so it can do small sprays of the "no²"

The expansion chamber is supposed to be as close to the start of the exhaust next to the motor as possible

2 strokes are simple:
Air, fuel and spark.
if you give more fuel (nitrous or bigger jetting) it needs more air. if you give more air it needs more fuel. too much fuel (AFM rich) will make the engine sound like a 4 stroke, choking the engine and losing power - too little fuel (AFM lean) makes causes the engine to overheat after a few minutes and piston go boom.

Dude, the expansion chamber needs to be calculated or you should use an online calculator (there are a bunch for free) for optimum performance
can you turn the cold side of the turbo into a supercharger?
then the boost rises with RPM ?
could be a lot easier to get running on a 2 stroke?

Go buy an actual race exhaust from a 50cc moped it will make so much more hp or use a exhaust calculator and make one with correct dimensions.

Now you have to tune your carburetor to your expansion pipe
It does seem like it's over fueling with the expansion chamber on 🤔
I know on my 1990 kx500 I had to go to a bigger Jetty size in the carburetor when I put an FMF fatty pipe on there Gold Series.

@@itsmikelake it'd be a waste to go four stroke but if using cub copies get a 125 semi auto with reverse from quad will make it fun and reverse is always funny nitrous and boosting pit bike engine will be alot more complicated than two stroke though worth a thought... 🫡👌
What gear ratio were you running in this video? I’m currently building a similar gokart, so you might help. Keep up the build, so entertaining to watch :P
I actually don’t know my gear ratio at the moment 😅 how would one be able to tell?
@@itsmikelake Divide the rear gear number of teeth by the sprocket gear number of teeth. Lets say that your sprocket has 6 teeth and the main gear on the rear axle has 55 teeth. Dividing 55 by 6 gives you your final gear ratio, which in this case would be 9.16 : 1.
You gonna widen rear track? Would take the twitch out of it.
Yeah and extend the wheel base a little. Should smoothen out transitions etc

Are you still using the v8 supercar fuel? Why not try different fuels🤷♂️ see how E85 goes and maybe methanol with the bigger carb and a bigger drill bit in the jet. 🤔 might shoot some flames 🔥I’m no expert just throwing ideas out there so don’t know if the 2 stroke oil will mix with them but only one way to find out
Currently just running 98 on this setup with the nitrous. I’m definitely keen to get some flames going! I’m actually keen to port the motor a bit and maximise the power from it NA 🤔
@@itsmikelake nice, I think once you have a bit more air flow the bigger carb and different fuels should be fun to play around with and see if you can get flames. Even if it doesn’t make more power flames are cool.
@itsmikelake if you are sticking with this engine, please look up about the 47cc vs the 49cc I am sure you can tell the difference by the fins on the head. It will make such a difference you would be shocked. When we used to mess around with these years ago a heavily modded 47cc was only slightly faster than a stock 49cc. If you wanted to through a bit of money at it you can get a air cooled motor that are over 15hp. Either way love what your doing.

It would, but you’d have to watch out for the car running lean under the nitrous shot 😅

You guys should get yourselves one of the cheap chinese 66cc two stroke bicycle engines to play with. MUCH better design than these CAG clones you have now
the expansion chamber should be calculated for the engine, find someone who knows this and then see the power

Retry your diy chamber after the gear fix. Youre not even hitting enough rpm to make use of the pipes resonance the way things are
Yeah, what is the reason I’m not hitting the rpm? I need to figure that out 😅
@itsmikelake if the gearing is far off the engine just physically can't rev that high because of the load on it once the clutch engages. Even off the ground if you have it geared for a lot of top speed it might have trouble spinning things up
@@itsmikelake37kmh without it revving out means that gearing is probably enough for 50+ and that's asking a lot out of 2-3hp

I’ve been looking! An upgrade is definitely on the cards at some point. I’ll do a few cheap mods to the current setup first just to see what they max out at, then we’ll go bigger

@@itsmikelake love your videos. We have a local community that is competing against eachother on who can make most power and speed in a 50cc (we all have bigger bikes but this is so fun 🤣). We have people who made 11:1 compression ratio 8-15k rpm and between 6-15hp. It is crazy. I am currently on 8hp 8400 RPM 🤣
