I was dating a guy that produces/makes music and this line really hit close to home because I remember sitting with him through some very dark times and listening to him describe what it felt like to start losing his hearing and music is everything to him. It's a detrimental feeling, an inescapable tragedy to watch the thing you love most slip through your hands in slow motion.
& this song encapsulates that feeling perfectly.
I really hope he is doing well and I hope this song reaches him to inspire him to get better after every flare up, to try again.

Honestly a friend recently introduced me to heylog. And they've become part of my favorite bands I listen to, mainly because of how the emotions hit close to home and it's good music.
The best way I can describe how the songs sound to me and my take on how I feel. It's like that feeling of screaming everything out on the inside, all the pain never goes away but you'll never give up because you have so much you need to live for so it's like a constant battle in life. We have ups and we have downs. That's just life but we also need to let everything out, it's okay to scream and cry. It's okay to just not be okay but first we have to accept it before we can truly get better. ❤
Sorry went a bit deep there 😅 but heylogs music feels like it's own genre imo, it's so beautiful, maybe sounds sad but it's still absolutely amazing. It just makes me wanna stare at the beautiful sky, go outside and keep living. Kinda funny when it sounds sad but it doesn't always make me feel that way.❤ We're all strong and fighting our own battles our way. Just live life to it's fullest the best you can. ❤
