Same problem as the other person than commented. It doesn't heat up anymore.

For the life of me I can’t figure out how to turn this iron on. Shouldn’t be so difficult.

There isn’t an on and off switch you adjust the temperature settings and that’s what turns it on. Thanks.

Costco currently has the CHI Iron w/retractable cord for $55. The model is 13102. This model being reviewed looks to be the 13106, maybe an updated unit? Does anyone know the difference between the two models? Maybe the 13102 is older and inferior and the supplier is trying to offload them?

I’m sorry I can’t help. I assumed there was only one model.

The Costco model is the one with the electronic temperature control display AND retractable cord. The model that is being reviewed here doesn't have the electronic temperature display, it has the dial only. I am looking into the digital display model, I have a hard time reading dials without glasses.

We’ve had out for about 2+ years and everything seems fine. We’ve used it at least 10-20 times.

The iron should still be under warranty. Contact the manufacturer for a replacement. Contact information can be found in the instruction manual.
