I wasnt born in the 60s, 70s. Much later in fact. But I grew up listening to Rafi sahab and Kishor kumar and others. My dad is a fan. Growing up, Hed play these songs on our old Videocon casette player. He had a box full of casettes. In the times where a song is trending for 2 days and forgotten on 3rd day, these songs stuck with me. I still listen to them sometimes, sometimes by myself, sometimes in car with my dad. That moment when we both start singing the lyrics perfectly in sync. I wouldn't trade that connection with my dad for the world. It's nice to have a common taste in music with your dad. Makes my siblings jealous to no end but dad loves it!
