- Last days of my trip to beautiful Sri Lanka. Tea at scenic St. Clair's Tea Center, lunch at the panoramic Plantation Hotel near where "The bridge over the river Kwai" was filmed, overnight at the Colombo Grand Oriental hotel, and ride to the airport. The footage from the bus is not so smooth, but it captures slices of real life in this amazing country. The parts with no scenery are in because Su, our guide, is saying something interesting. This is the complete day, so it includes the rail ride posted separately; if you've seen it, just skip it.
Its just three years ago, but looks so different from now. Colombo is a lot cleaner now
Beautiful video. Thank you.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the videos Jay Jay. It really was a wonderful trip and I'm hoping to go back one day myself. There are many more places I would love to visit.
in general, I really like your Sri Lanka videos as they are nice and interesting especially at the Dambulla cave temple, Sigiriya , Kandy tooth temple and botanical gardens, pinnawala elephant sanctuary, spice garden in Matale and Nuwara Eliya. I will be going this coming 23 June as part of the 1-week Eid holiday in Malaysia but will be guided by another tour agency called MySriLanka Travel. nevertheless, i will be visiting these places except the spice garden in Matale. for your info, I will be visiting a fortress city called Galle as well as the famous stilt fishing site there. I will tell you the recommendation of visiting Galle for your future Sri Lanka trip once I complete my holiday there.
Yong De Tan Have a wonderful time! The fishermen should be very interesting. Thank you for thinking of letting me know your impressions 😊
i just got back from my vacation in sri lanka and the country is lovely. the drivers are patient and the surrounding air is so much cleaner than in india! you may want to consider visiting the ruins in Polonnaruwa located 42 km east from Sigiriya and also the majestic Galle fort. i had also visited the spice gardens in Matale as well.
Yong De Tan I hope I get the chance to visit those places one day. And I agree Sri Lankans are lovely people. Thank you for the advice.
I was waiting your next video from Sri Lanka. I am going to Sri Lanka in December. Your comments, video locations and themes are very live and energetic. Your tour guide "Su" is excellent. He have a great knowledge to give information in a effective manner. How can I communicate with him? Great job! Please keep up the great work.
slaw2001 Thank you very much! Su's full name is Sumedha Chandradasa and his email is info@camlolanka.com. Sri Lanka has many many wonderful places I didn't get to visit. Have a great trip!

Tsb Dhdhd Yes, it's amazing! So many wonderful things to see and experience!
hey, sinhala people is not lazy up to now go and see how they have built srilanka but they did not want be slave to out siders in same mother land, thats why they did refuse work under british ....guider gave wrong idea
Ranjith Hapu That's exactly what our guide was saying. I think some of the conversation was cut of. He totally agrees with you.
The tourist guide is more biased on one side (Sinhalese) of the story and neglecting Tamils. If rebellions are terrorist then srilankan government is the mother of all terror and war crime. Justice will prevail some day and all the wrong doings of Sinhalese led government will face the consequences.
