it has been confirmed by the show producers that he is an alien . he blocks bullets with his palm ! survives a stab wound that can kill ! his notes he talks about UFO's and about Feeling things and watching beautiful things when he is staring at people walking in the streets , that is not entirely human if you think about it , its as if he is explaining to his friend his new experience in the human world , also the way he talks about the Traffickers, he says Traficking humans. thats not how normal people would say it , they would say human traffickers or trafficking people ..he can also tell when people are lying. His daily routine is weird and also the cat that lives in his handler's house can communicate rules lol wtf ... she has one rule , no dogs ? huh ???

It was the classiest show on tv. Loved it so far and the best role ever for Farrell. I don’t want to watch it anymore. Too bad.

yes, including the UFO rock band, alien creatures from films and extraterritorial references
i dont really like this twist it really nice seeing nice LA noir type story with the old classical movies i dont see the reason why they made it into a si fi alien show but its up to them i guess
Don't care the explaination... the "twist" totally ruined the show for me... Resident Alien is much better in every way with OUT all the violence... but will be interesting to see how they explain exactly what and why and how of it all
Agree, but Sugar's ode to classic movies and it's references are quite good.
