What a wonderful rendition of this ELO classic! But these guys shouldn't seriously consider performing under that name unless they wanna get sued of course. Jeff Lynne and his band are the only true ELO that will ever exist. ;)

@@jamesfisher5233 Jeff Lynne is ELO! It took 4 Beatles and George Martin to accomplish what Jeff Lynne has done musically all by himself. Of course, by popularity, The Beatles are no 1 but musically Jeff Lynne rules. I am a huge Beatles fan but Jeff Lynne is so much better with Harmonies, Orchestration, as an incredible Producer, singer and songwriter. Long live Jeff Lynne's ELO!!! Please Tour in 2023!!!

Das Problem ist leider das die meisten die dort auf dem Konzert sind ELO überhaupt nicht kennen und somit keinen Zusammenhang erkennen und damit auch nicht das Original kennen!!! Aber Top , gutes Cover, gute Band
This is a good live stage act, and I suppose they have a right to perform under the ELO logo, otherwise they would not have done it.

This is not ELO. This is tribute band who Jeff has sued for using the ELO name. Phil Bates played on one ELO part 2 album - The Moment of Truth.

This is Phil Bates, ex-Trickster, ex-Quill, ex-Don't Panic, ex-Atlantic, ex-ELO Part II, ex-The Orchestra, ex-Beatles, Blues and Blue Violin, etc etc etc. Bates has been making himself a living out of pirating Jeff Lynne's music for the past three decades. Bates calls this band ELB (Electric Light Band), the guy lives up to the name of his 1970's band "Trickster", nuff said.

Though he's got Jeff's voice pretty much down, I hope they do not refer to themselves as ELO as HRM Lynne owns the name and will sue. Also, this isn't The Orchestra as there is no Mik Kaminski nor Sir Louis Clark. Still, this really sounds great.
