the tip is just to increase width for looks, the game is also made for looks...you know that right ? lol..not everything has to directly affect the car or elsewe'd be driving cars that look great but dont do jack..
This is weird cause there are settings you can clearly see that say Track width for the tires yet the tires have different widths by them self. They should've just given you actual sizes. But you know... Need For Fake is such an awesome game. This game is missing an unlimited garage space and better physics. I would even settle for need for speed underground physics over these.
+Last Deny Track width only increases the distance your wheels are pushed out, not their actual width. Doesn't Matter though because since the most recent update all wheels are the same width.
((Fun tip)) you can actually rev your engine by just pressing the gas throttle very lightly to like 7k rpm then the car snaps into gear.

If you go to the stance adjustment option and go down where it says track width you can adjust the width of the tires

This could've been the finalized NFS:World if EA wanted it to be, about 4x the car slots in the garage, just as much graphic modification, et al.
