Edit: So I just bought 8 packs of Freetress hair, in Water Wave. I'll update as to how it turns out.

Final Edit: So 11 packs of hair later.
I have completed the style. It looks pretty much like hers, I like it. But if you're one of those types of people who prefers their locs to look more smooth and neat during your wear, this is not going to be the style for you. I actually prefer mine to look more 'messy', I think it just helps with the locs looking more natural, but after just four days, the curls start to look frizzy and matted along the loc. The first day it's going to look like hers, but by the third day, you're gonna look more like Lisa Bonet. Just keep that in mind.
Also, I don't know if it was the brand of Water Wave I bought, but, I had to FIGHT to braid this hair in to my hair, it tangled SO bad. It was literally the longest part of the process, otherwise, the style was pretty easy to do.
This legit looks like water wave but with extra strands used like 4-5 instead of 2-3. Deep twist does NOT separate well and the texture is way too loose to give this look.
@@feliciacat88 Thank you! I was thinking it possibly couldn't be Deep Twist because the texture didn't seem as silky, but I forgot what it was called. I used Water Wave to do my twists.

Can you do this with Marley twist as the base and use the spring twist to still wrap around? I got a bunch of Marley twist hair tryna see if I can use that for under the wrap around method as the base of the loc�

How many times did you split one strand?
These locs are beautiful!!!! I want to try these but Iâm scared theyâll be too heavy for my hair. I have a 3b/3c hair and itâs hip length (stretched) so the locs would have to be butt length or longer, and I just know theyâre gonna have my neck hurting âčïž
You could maybe braid your hair and fold it up onto itself and then wrap the crochet hair around that. So youâd probably have chunkier locs but theyâd be half the length of your hair... does that make sense?
