Is it me, or did Lucy look to be in pain at around 4:17. I know that she did not want to do the show, because she thought that she would look too old. But Hope himself convinced her to do it, and she looked magnificent. A great final bow for the Queen of Comedy. Lucy also had oral surgery the day of the taping, so she was in some discomfort. Lastly, she was also still was suffering from the after effects of the stroke she suffered a few years earlier, and had learned to speak slower and enunciate her words more clearly because her speech was still slightly slurred due to the stroke. But it looked like she had a great time, and that makes me smile, especially since she had so little time left to spend on Earth with us. God Bless Lucille Ball.

It was only perhaps the last 5 years of a 50 plus year show biz career ( I read how her last sitcom failed miserably) that was considered a failure. But on a hopeful note. I agree. This number is cheesy but not awful. It shows talent. It is depressing reading these comments. They could have become writers, producers, directors, business owners. Many people do not win Oscars in their life times. This actually marks the time where the word MOVIE STAR/ACTOR gets redefinied. The cast of FRIENDS made more money their final season than ANY movie star that year. Rikki Lake (sp?) had her own show. Cory Feldman may have been really messed up by the death of his pal Cory Haim and Michael Jackson. I could go on and on but I won't. Loved your comment.

Names like Patrick Dempsey, Christian Slater, Rikki Lake and a few others became household names, while others such as Tracey Nelson, Tyrone Powe Jr, Jolie Fischer, Patrick O'Neil Jr. and Chad Lowe were famous because of their more famous relatives. Corey Feldman was deep into his Michael Jackson while others fell of the radar. Its impossible to predict the future because the biggest stars of the following decade werent even on that stage.
