      I reached out a couple of times to Taylor with no response. Considering they are just across town from me, seems like they would want to.

    Ive used the +4 follower and the upgraded springs in 5 magazines and all of them worked fine. The problem is the gun already has feeding issues with stock parts

    Thanks for the video. I have a GSG 1911 and i like it very much. But i only have stock mags for it. I bought 5 extra for it. I had the same kind of problems with mag upgrades for my Ruger LCP 2 22lr. Just go with stock i would say.

    I've seen many reviews on this model where they sand the rail slide and put the enhanced guide rod for better feeding issues. Hope this helps.

      I actually did exactly that and will post a review of the Nick Taylor Stainless Guide Rode and spring sometime in the next few days. These are actually really great shooters once you tune them. Out of the box they are very accurate but tend to jam due massive over-spray of the finish and the burrs on the slide.

      So I finally got to try these exact same products from taylor tactical and you were right. My dad lives in texas and when I was out there, I had double feeds & jams galore. Don't waste your money although, the plus 3 aluminum base pad I would keep.

    Are you using high Is velocity ammo exceeding 1200' per 2nd CCI makes some great stuff a lot of people have had a much better success using a very fast bullet you may want to consider that

      I used several kinds including CCI Stinger at 1640fpd and Win Super X at 1430fps all with the same result. There is an issue with these followers which is why TT redesigned the original which had the exact>
      I reached out to Taylor Tactical with no response. I live here in Austin, where TT is located and would be more than happy to let them look at the gun and mags. Trust me I would love for these to work!

    I know this is late but did you make sure the correct angle for the replacement spring? I put my spring in backwards and I had the same issue, changed it back and oil the inside of the mag and not it runs fine but I only changed the follower.

      I did and it made no difference.

    Same results as you.... Think the follower moves around to much ?

    • @AntiqueDead
      @AntiqueDead  Před 2 lety +1

      I do. I think the short tab to fit inside the spring allows it rock and bind.

      @@AntiqueDead , It's a good pistol using stock mags n at least 1,260 fps ammo.. be well.
