All the black and white photographs featured in this video were made with a Leica M6, MP and a 35mm pre-ASPH Summilux, on Ilford HP5 pushed 2 stops, developed in Ilfotec HC on the AXLE CR1 rotary processor.

Just watched this again and noticed you shot on HP5+ at EI 1600. Are you back to HP5 or just finishing off some of your last rolls? I also noticed you dev with Ilfotec HC. I'm an HP5 shooter, too, and I use HC when I dev rolls shot at box speed, but I use Ilfotec DDX on pushed film because it's supposed to be better at maintaining shadow details.
I also noticed a year or so back that slower, more gentle agitation in the development process also yields finer, more pleasant grain with HP5---at least in my own work and development. I don't use a rotary processor, though; I just dev by hand. Just wanted to mention these things to you! You probably are already aware and enjoy your process, which is obviously working very nicely for you, but HP5 shooters have to talk shop when they get a chance. :D

That's awesome to know! Yes DDx is much nicer.. HP5 with Ilfotec HC gets "ropey".. But it's something I've gotten fond of!
