Thing with Rosie is that she's assumed to be hellborne since fautisse the visual developer said she never died so shes not a cannibal by sin but by being born into that life style so she's probably not gonna be as cruel as a sinmer cannibal would be also making her one of the few hellborne overlords

So anything Faustisse says is Word of St Paul, not Word of God: PROBABLY canon but not necessarily so, and should be taken with a few grains of salt.

Imagine that Alastor’s wording about harming no “One”, when it hurts everyone.
I personaly don't think he would be that nit picky. I believe it will have to do with some kind of administrative work. It would fit to what he said in this very episode, that the sees himself guiding Charly with her potential and ofcourse gaining "power" through it. Wether that be literal strenght or something else.
Thats probably more to reffer that CHARLIE wont need to "hurt no one" with the favor, but he? Well, thats another matter entirelly

@@SilverKnightXx Deals with demons are ALWAYS about being nitpicky. There is always a catch or phrasing that the person making the deal either doesn't think about or doesn't realize how hard it could fuck them over until the demon does the rug pull.

I love how this music is so good that even Nic, a man who, by his own admission, isn’t big into musicals, loves it. This is such a great show.

@@XFizzlepop-Berrytwist Charlie, Vaggie or Lucifer would be the most likely since two of them have angelic powers which can cause permanent death (Charlie or Lucifer) and one's primary weapon is made of angelic steel (Vaggie). The only way anyone else would kill Val is if S2 shows that now everyone's weapons use angelic steel after the fight in Ep 8. Maybe even Carmilla snaps and kills Val.

Carmilla is one of those characters I plan to cosplay in the future if I ever get a chance to, she looks badass. Her blade shoes are amazing. Next episode is amazing and I hope we get the reaction soon! All of the fandom are demanding season 2 as soon as possible btw. Supposedly they jumped right into making it and its a year to 2 away at most. Also Alastor's deal is so cryptid in this episode, the fandom has been speculating like mad!
I’m upset with Amazon for only allowing 8 episodes.
Even in anime 1 season usually gets 12 eps minimum.
@kay8487 on one hand they were taking a chance with new content that is heavily mature, but the pilot proved it had great potential. 8 episodes has been feeling by like a new standard lately. I don't like it. I hope they either increase episodes or increase length of episodes next season.

I like the "Out of love" song but I think there is a missing scene somewhere,Vagie has been fighting only for love this whole time, everytime she threaten violence it's to defend Charlie or the hotel, she has never attack anyone out of hate. I think there should have been a scene where she tackle Lut or Adam after they reveal her secret
I agree. They could've also reframed it to show the difference between her and the other exorcist. They are out for blood, but Vaggie is out for love, and that's something that she should be proud of and how she will win. Instead of seeming to tell her to do what she has always done, they should've tried to validate it and had her realization be hoe she is different from her sisters and proud of it.
She actually hasn't really attacked anyone physically yet. She threatens constantly but has not stabbed anyone since her exorcist times it looks like. She always holds back. It may be she even never thought to try killing an angel till now.
I think it's more that she sees herself only as a tool or a weapon, in ep 3 she says "If I can't help you, what's the point of me?" The talk between Charlie and Rosie implies she originally came to the hotel out of shame, she followed Charlie because of her guilt for taking part in the killing of sinners, something Husk confirms in ep 4 when he says she "judges everyone and everything because she hates herself." Her first reaction to threats is violence, like when Sir Pentious showed up. This isn't to say she doesn't love Charlie, but rather she was always fighting because it's all she knew. Now she has realised she found redemption in Charlie, and now she is fully fighting for her, as her partner, not a tool.
I saw recently that Hazbin Hotel was meant to have more episodes and Vaggie was going to have a Revenge subplot. However, since the company shortened the season, they didn't have time to edit the song so those lyrics were kept.

I’d like to point out the emphasis on Alastor not wanting the main casts souls when they make a deal with him. Alastor certainly is the type to flex his shit, so why ain’t he making a deal for their souls? Pretty sure a certain deal with someone prevents him from doing so
I'm pretty sure it's also a common sales tactic. Emotional state or not, a soul is a huge price to ask, and would _immediately_ make him enemy of Lucifer and the entire hotel even if Charlie was feeling vulnerable enough to accept. But a favor? A harmless favor at that? Yeah, Charlie is much more likely to accept that.
Another possibility is that he likes Charlie and thus, since he can probably accomplish his goals through that favor in some way, just simply doesn't want her soul unless she became an actual obstacle to his plans.
Mostly the first one though. Jumping straight to a very horrific deal is a great way to absolutely torpedo any relationship you've built up, which is especially bad when her father can slap you into next week and you also intend to "guide" Charlie's potential in some way.

Why are Alastor and Rosie better Parents to Charlie than Lucifer and Lilith
Don't forget, Charlie is princess of Hell. She has higher power than Alastor and can break out of the deal if she so chooses.
EDIT: Okay, might be hyping up Charlie too much, but she's still a royal, her dad is the one who writes all the rules, and can decide if a contract can be voided if he wants, probably.
We don't know if that is how it works. For all we know deals are binding regardless of power and being stronger just means the other party can't force you into accepting a deal - if you accept one voluntarily, you might still be bound.
We haven't seen any deals broken yet.

When Stolas is trying to calm down Asmodeus with Crimson's Lawyer there, he tells him that they must read through the contract to make sure it is correct, because a deal made with a being as powerful as a Sin, like Asmodeus, would be ever-binding. Given that Charlie is theoretically the next level of power above the Sins, any deal she makes is likely even more so unbreakable.

It does have the disadvantage of coming in January/the very beginning of February. Meaning a lot of people won't have it actively on their minds when it comes to voting(that's at the end of the year right i know nothing about award shows, but that would make sense to me)

This episode was both fantastic and painful to watch. Painful, because it is fun to see Alastor being a dick to others. But not to see him be so to people we like. And fantastic, because I'm a huge fan of the Charlie and Vaggie relationship, and to see them get past the difficulty was such a relief.
We already got people saying the show is not living to expectations, that it is not good. Just lies.
Respectfully, fuck those people lol. I've long since decided I don't agree with or even want to hear critics. Many just seem bought and paid for. Or just dont look at context and become ignorant. I choose to judge for myself stuff. And if I feel comfortable with a reactor(s) enough to respect their opinions then so be it. Hell the Renegades are so much better that even when I disagree with them on stuff I value it a million times more then critics.
@@BlueRoseWolfie Not long after I commented that, I found a video of someone saying the story made no sense, and their arguments were stuff that was explained on the show itself, some outright spelled by the characters themselves.
