- Esther Swan just resigned from the Miss Universe Organization after being their Talent Manager for over 20 years. After the acquisition of the Miss Universe Organization by Anne Jakrajutatip and the JKN Group, fans have been speculation about the fate of the beauty pageant. For some reason, "legacy employees" such as Esther Swan and Paula Shugart seem to be at risk of losing their role within the Miss Universe organization. Especially since their values and vision don't really align with the current leadership of the organization.
Esther Swan has been a motherly figure for Miss Universe Winners from the last 20 years, some of the ladies that she has guided during their reign include: Pia Wurtzbach, Catriona Gray, Zozibini Tunzi, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, Harnaaz Sandhu, etc.
During this video, I'll share with you all the details about Esther Swan's resignation as well as my feelings about this entire situation.

Legacy is the appropriate word and it seems this is no longer valuable currency in this cold and chaotic JKN era.

Being a follower of MU for decades, I am saddened that Ester left the Prestige organization .She's part of many fans of the Miss Universe Organization..She's like our second mother , a friend and a mentor to our Misses Universe Pia and Catriona..She's a smart and well experience about the industry and maybe her reason to be out of MUO is for her own insanity and peace of mind not to.mention stess and anxiety from the new administration. We are not amaze of how the new owner run the MU..we feel like it's becoming more of profitable institution than a symbol of spreading peace and goodwill to the world....For us beauty contest followers and fans particularly MU represents everybody not only women...MU is not about Ms. Ann..it's not about profit, t's about entertaining people, it's about being an Ambassadoresof goodwill and promoting peace to the world , it's about promoting countries tourism of the candidates ..whatever changes they will do , hope it will benefited The Miss Universe Organization and not the pocket of the new owner..Good Luck Miss Ester and Be well and Be safe..

Another chapter closes with MUO, it's a shame. Maybe we can entice Momma Esther to retire in The Philippines and be part of the pageant scene?đ. Momma Esther will be sorely missed. My current feelings about the MUO I will keep to myself for now. Those feelings have already been expressed in other posts of mine here. I will wait until the next MU pageant occurs and make my final decision about MUO then. Until then, I see the MUO operating with a large bandaid holding it together, barely.

The problem right now is the MUO itself right now, the management. They have to do something. During the IMG Era, it is not like this, Esther Swan is an important person to the Miss Universe winners. Mrs Ann just wants to be Miss Universe its that simple. She's a limelight stealer and has been since day 1. I think that some leading franchise owners should band together and create a new organization and leave Mrs Ann holding a worthless contest. For me, the moment they accepted transgender to compete, it's lost one of its essence as a women's pageant. honestly, it's hard to accept when you grow up watching MU and knowing what it was like before.. and now they accepted single mom, or married women.. đ maybe I'm saying this because I used to look-up of the MU contestants as a kid, and wanted to be like them, study hard (when they always mention impt of education, hehe), getting good Job, and to enjoy life as single to the fullest (obviously since they are all single) and of course, they make you proud of being a girl đ

Obviously, Anne has her own vision for the future of the Miss Universe Organization, which has yet to be revealed and understood by the public.
It is easy to judge Anne's changes, but let's not forget that Anne inherited an Organization during a scandal. Everyone blames Crystal Stewart for the scandal of R'Bonney's favoritism and the alleged sexual advances of her husband towards contestants. Paula Shugart is the President of the organization and Esther Swan is the Talent Manager, therefore they should be equally responsible.
This is not the only incident that demonstrates that the protection of the contestants wasn't in the best interest of the organization. There were also complaints by contestants years ago about Donald Trump walking into the dressing rooms while contestants were changing and nothing was said or done about his inappropriate behavior.
Maybe based on Anneâs perception of the Organizationâs history she is making decisions to eliminate all members who could have and should have spoken up over the years for the interest of the girls as supposed to remain silent for their own self-interest.

I would say in the next months ahead we will see long term employees leave. Fired or resign it will happen. I feel Ann needs to keep some and bring in new. Old blood and new blood makes a good mix.
I don't like the new JKN era and thought IMG was pretty good just needed improvement but I feel Anne is too hostile and needs to change course and build relationships and not alienate people or disadvantage poorer countries. No me gusta.

Ms. Shugart and Esther are right! ... what is the logic of that if the competition is mixed? Everyone has their own beauty competition. There is Mrs. Universe (married), Miss Queen International (Transexuals), etc... the new owner herself is showing very obscene things on Instagram and other social media platforms that a sensible woman should not do. There is rudeness in the movements and missing quality of an organization. So it is the right time not to give value or attention to Miss Universe because the organization has fallen into indecency.
