I may have gone overboard on the upgrades, but the results speak for themselves. Every idiots in sight rushed me and paid the ultimate price of 1 coin each.

He keeps taking the aoe slow and the aoe damage on crit but skips over all of the aoe range boosts, I would love to see how big he could get those aoe's lol, maybe he'll see this and give it a try!
We wouldn't see it simply because his pc would die before that even occurs hahaha
@@lancemagbanua5712 We could certainly see those, because actually the game dies first. When too much stuff happens on the screen, the game just straight up breaks and can't calculate anymore. The first point with that is, when the enemies stop taking damage. The second point is, when the player stops taking damage. At that point you are kinda softlocked, because you can't even die anymore. What we saw for DF towards the end is pretty close to the point of enemies not taking damage anymore.

Hey, in case you didn't know, Cooldown Reduction also reduces the time it takes to get the maximum rate of fire bonus from standing still when you have that item, as well as dash cooldown, and plenty of other stuff. AoE also affects non-attack things like slowing enemies/projectiles around you, and it even increased the area from which you can grab coins when you have the item that increases that.

The effects that activate on lower/higher health actually scale with the numbers.
1/3 health doesn’t give as much attack speed as 1/5 health.
with these type of games, you either win or just get absolutely overwhelmed to end it lmao

In my book the true win is, when you brick the game to the point that you can't die anymore (even when you straight up stop pushing buttons), but the enemies can't be killed either.

he should make a dash build where he's constantly dashing into massive hordes to deal big damage with that upgrade, that'd be fun
if you get the hurt yourself and increase your damage when you dash and the heal yourself when you dash items, you can increase your damage to 200 regardless of what your damage is after dashing enough, getting the item that recharges all of your dashes at once and and uses them all together helps too
also the item that lets you attack faster at lower health considers how much health you have lost, not how much health you actually have to having 7 out of 10 hp has you attacking at the same speed as 1 out of 4 hp
If you take the healing dash, you need to prioritize the cool down reduction
Reckless rush looked good. +10 perma damage for 1 health 10 times - its like 10 free blue damage upgrades.

Challenge;
You must pick defensive upgrades (health. shields, healing, etc) when available. If no defensive upgrades are available, you may pick utility upgrades (cooldown, dash count, move speed, AoE size etc). Damage upgrades (including attack speed, crit chance/damage, pierce, bounce, etc) only if no other options are available, and must be of the lowest quality available.
This is probably right, but he always goes max damage.

Challenge: "Only the best". You can only pick the highest level possible upgrade. If there are multiple you can pick freely amongst the best. If you can reroll you have to re-roll unless a max level upgrade is available on your current roll.
Challenge 2: "Legless" You may only move using dash. You must pick dash upgrades if they are available. You may walk until you get your first 3 dash upgrades.
Challenge 3: "King engine" You cannot pick 'direct damage' upgrade such as increase damage or increase critical damage. Indirect damage upgrades are allowed (i.e. attach speed, pierce, more projectiles, add area damage, explosives). Skip if no applicable skill available.
Challenge 4: "Damage control" You can only pick skills that increase direct damage i.e. increase damage, increase critical damage. You cannot pick any skills that do not increase damage directly. Indirect damage increases such as attack speed, pierce or any other skills are not permitted.

Challenge 5: "It's a trap" For every boss chest you pick up you have to skip 3 'regular' level upgrades. If you do not pick up boss chests you can upgrade as normal.
Challenge 6: "GrayStillPlays" You can only pick gray upgrades. If there are no gray upgrades available you can reroll. If you cannot reroll and there are no gray upgrades available you cannot upgrade.
Challenge 7: "One one One one One" You can only pick the first upgrade from the list no matter what upgrades are provided.
Challenge 8: "Tax Audit" You cannot upgrade until the first boss shows up. You can pick up coins but any level up you get from these coins before there is a boss (an NPC with a health bar) on the map will have to be skipped.
In general I think you'll need a points goal to each challenge but I don't really have a good feel for that so you'll have to challenge yourself ;)

You should definitely play HAPPY ROOM. It’s a game about dealing as much damage as possible to a dummy and then by new weapons. It’s very similar to kick the buddy.

Only grey upgrades! DF loves to watch things struggle, so we should watch him struggle just as much as his pc!
When DF talks about damage you know it's over for his enemies in game. I love it. Hi DF.

4. try a different build to dmg or crits e.g. tanky or aoe
I'm convinced that the Tequila Bottle (50% less precise shots upgrade) is the best late game because of the sheer amount of enemies on screen because they hit those around the one your targeting hitting more enemies
You can see the number of dashes you have next to the top right of the character in the form of the white circles. Hope that helps.

I propose a challenge to see if these super critical/ultra damage builds are breaking the game, or the way its meant to be played. So basically avoid critical chance/damage up, focus as much as possible on dodge, magnet, extra hitpoints, cool-down, and well mutli-shot/bounce/fire-speed isn't a direct damage upgrade, so those should be ok as well.

I think the slow all projectiles included your own projectiles so they only started hitting people once they had already entered the circle of influence.

I feel every time ge hets bounce and pierce my heart sinks a little since they negatively impact eachother unless its swarmed
DF because the arrows have to pierce before they ricochet it makes the ricochets less likely to happen. You should either go full pierce or full ricochet - it's much less efficient to go both. Imo anyway
I think that's a bit more of a thought process for DF there dear Editor. Would like to see DF do some personal challenges but he just likes death haha
DF and RCE(Real Civil Engineer for the people who don't know) should defincollaborate. They would have a time together.
The reason DF's gameplay looks fun is because he only do what he wants even if its stupid... I guess it'd be fun to watch what he can do with those challenge videos but I'm afraid it might take DF's essence away and turn this channel into just another mainstream youtubers that does challenge here and there..

Challenge: Attack speed and Crit Damage only. No Crit chance multipliers and damage multipliers too. You can go any other buffs and such, but you've got to keep selecting Attack Speed and Crit Damage only.
I think the AOE projectile slow slowed YOUR projectiles too, that's why everything looked to be in slow motion.
you should try some unique builds, like dash builds, area of effect around you builds, super duper max health tank builds, whatever you think could be broken
If I recall correctly(assuming this is the full version), there is a character that unlocks with having a high enough cooldown that end up breaking this game over their knee with the right build. Also, the game does not become happy as a result as well.
honestly the game is fairly fun but the optimization is so bad that almost anything makes the game unhappy

Crit damage is a worse investment the more you get. Say you only get the 100% more damage each time -> 300% to 400% to 500%… is really like a bones of 1/3, 1/4, 1/5… it just looses valve the more you get. Just fyi love the videos keep it up.
DF, can you please make one like that with the 100% Frits, but this time you take attackspeed everytime it shows up. You can stop if it’s at 20 per second on default if possible. If there isn’t any attack speed, take whatever you want

You should try to unlock the other characters. I just unlocked Nigel and I think you'll really enjoy him, given he has perma-pierce.
Challenge:
Take only things that increase your damage output. No movement, health, or armor upgrades if possible.
The goal is to get to the point where you don't have to walk anywhere anymore.
Love how simple your videos are, they're enjoyable and fun no matter what
I wouldn't mind if he did a run where he chooses a slot (1-4) and only takes whatever appears in that slot everytime

seeing as you have to spend lie 20 levels to get max crit, maybe getting the 100% crit buff is good
it depends on how early in your run you get it. if you've already spent a bunch of levels getting crit chance before ever finding it than it's a massive waist at that point.

Challenge: pick a number using a generator between 1-4...depending on the number it shows....that is what u pick on upgrades

Df I play this game at home and I find that you want your first buff to always be attack so you can one shot the goblins. Also pierce is better than bounce

DF i found out that you can play multiplayer but bind all the controls to WASD (ect) so you have 4 characters that one person controls! Like the comment so he sees!

Do you get some meta progression like all this bounty gives upgrades or are you just need to be lucky with upgrades during the fight
you should do always pick the highest tier (furthest left if multiple of the same tier)
Challenge idea only take the first option on every upgrade, let pure randomness deside
You should do a only movement challenge only taking dodges and move speed
6:58 you want to take it , + 100 mean 160 crit chance which means 60 for a super crit and with 9× crit damage (let's make it 10×) and 105 base damage , it will be 33 base , after your first crit 330 and 3300 on a super
He took it in one of his other videos and it ruined his build. He had maxed out dmg and lost it all with this one upgrade so couldn't hold back the horde

Seeing DF skip over blue cooldown upgrades for a grey crit rate repeatedly actually starts to hurt considering how much he loves the ASPD when not moving ability

Its actually better to go for only bouncing or only piercing because the arrows cant bounce if they pierce.
