    I love how brave and steady those horses are, I've never seen horses be so resistant to spooking like that, I bet they are a really steady and stable ride.

    Looks like fun as I love riding, but wouldn't the lions or wild dogs try to attack the horses though especially when tied up?

      They have guards that watch the horses at night and when they’re tied up 😊 We can come across predators whilst out riding but they very rarely pose a threat to the horses. Horses are large and fairly unnatural prey for big cats as they have odd smelling humans on them! You never run if you see cats but rather come together as a group - the lions then get confused why the ‘prey’ isn’t running and they can’t pick off an individual. They usually then get bored or intimidated and leave. All guides also carry a bull whip which makes a sound like a gun when cracked - this scares off anything that gets too curious! 😊 Your expert guides keep you very safe during the trip.

      @@AfricanHorseSafaris Thankyou for telling us the safety measures you have in place. For someone who has never been out of Australia this would definitely be my NO.1 holiday destination I would love to experience. Seeing African animals on Horseback - Awesome.

      @@AfricanHorseSafaris Why the guides dont have a rifle? Me and my friends are discussing our horse ride safari in El Donyo lodge Kenya then this fact quite discourages me to go.

      @@shalmisandlar8551 The older horses have learned that the lions aren't a threat through experience that they don't attack them when they are out on rides, and then the younger horses learn the behavior from them
