They just really had different paths they were inlove with each other during that time Nina’s been the longest relationship he had b4 nikki, and obviously Nina’s longest relationship was ian, she has dated LOTSS of guys but only for months lol, it took ian bout a year to move on with nikki however nina took just 3 months to move on from ian with another dude lol see what I mean by she wants to experience more.

Nina Dobrev has such a lovely laugh. They are great together here. I've never seen this before. I was looking to see if she's talked about returning for sure season 8... at least for a few eps or the finale. I'll be beyond bummed if she doesn't. I hope it's for more than one episode.. I wish she would be in all the eps.. but knnow that's unlikely. BUt this show seems more timeless than the movies she's doing, so I wish she'd go be in it :(

Wow, they had such a big crush on each other during that time. I have been watching several interviews with Ian, Paul and Nina, and begin to understand why Nina prefers Ian before Paul. Ian has never looked down at Nina's response to the various questions which has been asked. Ian shows great respect for Nina's views with regard TVD but annoys her with love when it comes to music taste. Ian grew up in a spiritual family (IMDB)
