It was very novel to show these figures off in such a natural setting. It adds a bit of life to the characters, as one can imagine them as travel companions. Excellent location and filming. I appreciate the 'pocket buddy' shots. I nearly lost a G1 Brawn in the woods doing that. It's very hard to find a green and yellow toy in a green environment. Thankfully he was recovered.

It's so weird how newages tiny little guys consistently look better in all modes than their masterpiece counterparts
I don't know much about newage as a company, but I get the feeling they got some savants with a passion for transformers on their design team.

Depends on the masterpiece. The masterpiece Dinobots look consistently great. That Arcee is something though.
@@3Rayfire i mean, there's exactly one official masterpiece grimlock and none of the other dinobots, and even that one looks outdated

New Age Arcee's transformation is INSPIRED. All Hasbro seems to be able to accomplish with her transformation scheme is stick an entire car on her back.
This may well be the best Arcee transformation I've ever seen.
The way that the seats turn into Arcee's feet fascinates me.
One of the "autobot brothers" from TF:RiD did the same, more or less. I'm glad they reused the idea... Even if doesn't make much sense in-universe... What if they stepped into mud and then have to transform and give a human a ride? Whoops!

Not bad transformations. Probably will just comment on the inner legs of Grimlock, as well as the standard 'don't look under the car mode' for most of Arcee toylines.
Oh, and that odd double flip-twist for Arcee's torso and head.
