Six Flags is in a very interesting position right now and we know that they are all for spending some major $ on new coasters in 2025...

I think Six Flags Mexico will receive a new roller coaster in 2025 because that year the park celebrate its 25th Anniversary

Many outlets are reporting that a Cedar Fair - Six Flags merger is close to happening. I hope the CF management team takes over and runs the whole chain. They could keep the team at Fiesta Texas and a few other SF parks that are running well.

Mini dive at SFNE
sfmm is not getting a giga, they were teasing reopening their skytower, plus its a pretty small plot for a giga and they just recived a dueling luanched coaster, it is way out if six flags buget
I agree. I was at the West Coast ACErs event and they were talking about the Skytower reopening so them teasing it as a "giga" makes since.
I definitely agree that SFMM is getting a coaster for 2025, specifically because that is when Hollywood Drift is supposed to open and Six Flags will want to try to steal some of those crowds. I don't see the park getting a Giga yet. From what ACE folks have been saying, the Giga being talked about is the Sky Tower which definitely needs to reopen since it's such an icon for the park. As to a Giga coaster, I still hold that it would be for 2028 since LA is hosting the Olympics. I love the idea of a vertical launch coaster going in the Golden Bear plot, especially if it is a terrain coaster. A Dive coaster could fit around the old Deja Vu plot and if the Teen Titans flatride was moved over to Pistachio Park, there would be a rather large chunk of land for a coaster right at the entrance to the DC Universe as another possibility. I could see a Kid Flash clone coming to Magic Mountain in the near future as well. I don't see a tilt coaster happening because of the GP. So far, every non-enthusiast I have shown the concept of a tilt to has said 'Hell no' and then cited Final Destination. It wouldn't be a good move financially.

If Great America gets a Dive then it will be the most boring park with the best supporting lineup... basically it would still be missing a star attraction... I think they deserve an Intamin multi-launch as V2 won't be around much longer.

A Vekoma modern looper called Electric Imp would be a perfect replacement for Steamin Demon.
La Ronde is so busy; I do not see a good reason they don’t invest more in it.
Maybe right now but not ususally , its frightfest so its normal . I went on a hot summer friday in july since its my homepark and Goliath was almost all the time a station wait , the only real lines was monstre , boomerang and titan , both having horrible capacity . However i can still see a coaster coming or even a flat ride . I could see a ultrasplash in la pitoune plot of land and maybe a nebula somewhere else
@@denizbaranakdeniz3671 I’ll have to defer to you in this one if it’s your home park. I went there in the summer, and it was super busy. But that was just one day. It took an hour to even get in.
I could see SFOG get a Raptor or a 200ft T-Rex for their 60th anniversary in 2027
I definitely think SFA will get its coaster sooner rather than later at this point. It’s been 11 years, and Batwing’s future still concerns me more than Roar.

Batwing was added back in 2001 and marked the beginning of the end for this park.

Back in the premier parks Era it was giving out expensive coasters like candy that forced them to sell in the first place to another CEO who in turn continued to ruin it further into the ground.

Nah, Cedar Fair is required to review the offer but that will never happen. Six Flags is way too volatile, and Cedar Fair is slow with acquisitions.

2025 For Magic Mountain can be a good year for an addition that’s a good thing to attack Universal’s upcoming fast and Furious Coaster

95% sure SFMM getting a Vekoma Super Boomerang. It makes sense for the small footprint of the area around the Golden Bear Theater/runs parallel to Superman. SFMM and SFGAdv in same boat financially in that they're vital for driving revenue for the company and need continuous cap investment, but are not profitable on their own. Thus, it would make sense to make another medium investment with minimal infrastructural changes.
Viper/Roaring Rapids were both set to be removed for a very big cap investment, but fell through because of the pandemic, hence refurbishing RR and keeping Viper going. Look for a new water ride after the Super Boomerang so they can remove Jet Stream/Ninja for next very large cap investment end of decade.
I wouldn't mind seeing a dive coaster, and a giga coaster or a water ride. They could make the dive coaster where tidal wave once stood and make the water ride somewhere else in the park. A giga coaster would be cool also, I would also like to see more restrooms in the park and maybe a relaxation area also. Just my opinion.
I do agree that magic mountain is a almost 1 in a million for a giga but why are people more open to the idea 🤔 of great adventure to get one over magic mountain
After the merger it's going to be the Texas parks getting investments given how Cedar Fair has wanted to get parks down there.

Viper will probably be removed if MM adds a big coaster. I could see them also adding a small family or kiddie coaster to reach 21 and hold off Energylandia a few more years.
Kid Flash clone is certainly a possibility.
Viper should stay. It's reliable, iconic, the last of its kind, and has a fair amount of history in Hollywood. It deserves the Loch Ness Monster treatment. New trains and some retracking would be the way to go.

I like the idea of Great America getting the first T-rex and then Magic Mountain following a year later with a T-rex giga after the concept is proven. It would immediately grab the entire coaster world's attention to see Six Flags get its first giga and to see the T-rex show off what we've been told it can do. I think it would make more sense as a replacement for Goliath (both because most people are underwhelmed by Goliath but also because of the available space and prominence at the front of the park.) But from the teasing it seems like a giga would come sooner than that (if it's coming at all.)
My dream for SFNE would be the Intamin Multi launch but if they just limited it to a Vekoma multi launch but did a clone of something that only exists over seas I think most people would be pretty satisfied with that given that it's Six Flags.

@@IMWBMEGJCC the Giovanola hypercoaster at Magic Mountain. It makes a lot of sense for that to be replaced with a giga, not the RMC at Great America.
