If anyone is concerned. The cow seems to know where it wants to go. Implying theres a barn or shelter in the field for them. Usually farms have one, its just possible the cow was farther out and grazing before the storm hit and the storm likely came in pretty quickly. So once the cows get to the shelter, they'll be alright. But those hailstones have got to hurt immensely

We don't leave them without any kind of shelter and I do live in texas. Yes, if there was a barn on the property they wouldn't get into it, but with these small shelters with just a wood roof on it the seem to stand under them especially in a lightning storm or hail. . They seem to get under when it gets real bad. the horses will get in a barn cows will not get in a barn especially if it has a metal roof.

@@justanotheryoutuber5228 shelter and a roof over someone's head in the heat and cold shouldn't be a luxury. Basic needs should be for all, and the extras should be earned, but everyone should have a chance.
This is why the rich feel like the others deserve only what they get. Some of them are not working hard for it. Most make their earnings by our consumption and the mind games of us needing more than we really do to enjoy life or be happy. I hope you never fall on hard times, or get old, or have any bad things happen because all homeless people are not homeless because they don't work. Some are Veterans who have PTSD from fighting for our freedom and cannot get the services they should after such a sacrifice. Some are people who spend their time helping to care for a love one who needed total care and moved in and when the love one died, they were forced to leave the place they called home because of their name not being on important documentation or the lost the other income or benefits and with not enough income to prove 7x's the rent in most states, they couldn't get place without a consignor or good credit. Some are foster kids who aged out of the system and don't know exactly where to begin as being a responsible adult, but are trying. I could go on, some are victims of domestic violence, some are sex trafficking victims who broke free but have nothing, some are drug addicts who use drugs to numb the pain from their traumatic lives, some are sexually molested girls and boys who took a chance at running away and being on the streets rather then be abused by someone they thought was supposed to protect them. • @Philips170S
    @Philips170S Před 3 měsíci +1

30 years ago we've had same extreme hailstorm, and the whole village gardens and roofs were destroyed.
All house's rooftiles were destroyed, there was countless dead birds in the nearby forest and all over the place. There was dozens of pet gooses and chickens dead.
There was some very bad damaged cars, with broken windows and headlights, dented sheetmetal all over the sides.
Our car was parked under a light roof which somehow protected the windows but the sheet metal got some bumps and dents.
My dad never fixed them, he was driving it like that until we sent it to scrap years later.
It was funny when people see it and started asking what caused these dents, and they were in disbelief when we tell them it was a snowball-sized hail dropping for 20 minutes.
My dad was out to the store and couldn't find a place to hide (we lived far from center and there's no shelters on the road, only trees) so he came home with broken head and all of his face and shirt were covered in blood.
He said he stayed beside a tree and hugged one in hope to stay alive.
I, myself, were working at the field and walked home when it started raining. Before I reach our yards it started raining hard and very quick turned into walnuts sized hail.
I got cover in the sheepfold, but the fear of this event still shakes me.
At one moment balls turned into a snowball size, and even some were bigger. They were falling with such power, they bounced off the ground to 30-40 meters away.
At one moment I stepped outside the sheepfold to see what's going on, what's that falling from above, but very fast I stepped back after a ball hit my head and gave me a lot of pain.
The balls were not just oval, but it had some icy spikes on them (from melting I guess). I got hit on my forearm also, and that wound was healing for a very long time, not fast as an usual scratch.
It lasted over 20 minutes and I was even afraid to look up again to see what's going on. Only briefly could look up and saw how our tomatoes nylonhouse gets ripped apart.
Our dog was with me btw, and the poor thing went out to the bombarding zone, got hit several times and barely could return to shelter. I was screaming as hell to him to return, but it was so loud I doubt it could even hear me.
When he came to my feet and looked up - I saw fear and horror in its eyes. Dog was shaking. I couldn't get him in hands because i needed both hands to cover my head. He ran under the sheep feeder and stayed there whining the whole time.
So yeah, that poor cow is in a lot of pain, even the balls are smaller...
After the hail stopped, there was tons of ice balls covering the whole ground, it was like a winter snow 10 cm deep.
I wish we had pocketphones with cameras back then, I could've captured unique photos.
All electricity and landphone lines were cut. We didn't had mobile phones back then in 1994, so we were absolutely isolated from the world until next day when some help from nearby villages arrived.
After the storm passed and light rain started pouring, I stepped outside my shelter and sat at our house's front door steps. There was dead silence. No people talking, no birds chirping.
In a few seconds our dog came slowly to me holding down it's head, and just sat near me, without looking in my eyes. It seemed like he totally felt the devastating horror that happened on that day.
It happened on 21st of July 1994, in a small village in northeastern Bulgaria, called Kotchmar.
Wish I could provide a proof of it, but as I wrote - back then we didn't had video cameras or digital cameras, only old school photo camera, but the films were expensive and we didn't had any in stock.
Anyways, I hope I'd never experience such an event again, even tho I have a pocket camera with me all the time now. It was a horrible experience and I wish it stays only in my memories.
Long story but I thought I'd share it with the world. Be safe everyone! 🍻✌🏻

Impressive hail. That's a bull, bless him. There is probably a shelter/open shed just off camera. He can destroy/contort a galvanised gate within seconds, he is much harder than people assume. Ps If you ever see one of these running like this behind you, run fast and do not think climbing over a gate or fence will stop him. Every year these mostly docile cattle can experience "dog days" and they can maul/kill anyone who gets in their way.
