Creamy Restaurant style Paneer Butter Masala (பன்னீர் பட்டர் மசாலா) is easy to make at home.This creamy curry is made with onion, tomatoes, cashews, cream and butter (of course!).A different and utterly tasty recipe than the other butter paneer recipes out there, so make it now at home and enjoy !
Ingredients
Paneer/ பன்னீர் - 150 GMS
Oil/ எண்ணெய்- 2 TSP
Cumin Seed/ சீரகம் - ½ TSP
Ginger/ இஞ்சி - ½ TSP (Chopped)
Garlic/ பூண்டு - ½ TSP (Chopped)
Green Chilli/ பச்சை மிளகாய் - ½ TSP (Chopped)
Onion/ வெங்காயம் - 2 TSP
Tomato/ தக்காளி - 2
Turmeric Powder/ மஞ்சள் தூள் - ½ TSP
Chilli Powder/ மிளகாய் தூள் - 1 TSP
Coriander Powder/ தனியா தூள் - 2 TSP
Cashew Paste/ முந்திரி பேஸ்ட் - 1 Cup
Methi Leaves/ மெதி இலைகள் - ½ TSP (Crushed)
Butter/ வெண்ணெய் - 1 TSP
Fresh Cream/ பிரெஷ் கிரீம் - 2 ½ TSP
Salt/ உப்பு - To Taste

What s d substitute for cream sir... Bcos during lockdown no cream available

Based on this vedio, I modified slightly the same. I did not have tomoatoes. So, I sautéed with onion, garlic, ginger and jalapeño (a fat variety of chilly). In a seperate pan. Then in a second pan sautéed the paneer cubes with chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam Masala, methi leaves and added to the first pan. This turned out be awesome. This had a dried texture though. Kids enjoyed it. I cooked all in olive oil.
