  • In this video I visit a town in Czech Republic called Kelč which is on the boarder of Haná and Valašsko it has a population of 2.700 inhabitants. The river Juhyně also flows through the town.
There were a few notable people who once lived also came from this town so while I was out shopping it was in my interest to take a look at the surroundings and speak with the locals if they had any history to tell me about this town called Kelč. One notable person was Vojtěch Jasný who was a film director he made film about Kelč called Všichni dobři rodáci. In 1983 a discovery of treasure, silver coins was discovered by a 14 year old while he was out plowing in the fields with his mother. Also on the town square stands a monument statue of Jan Nepomucký which is the saint of Bohemia.
