  • The 131st running of the famous Czech race, over 4m2f and 30 obstacles, provided its usual share of drama and incident. Patrick Mullins was unseated early on from Kaiserwalzer while several runners were carried out by a loose horse. Talent, seventh and fourth in the previous two renewals, took the spoils in an exciting finish after almost being brought down.

Agreed, even though he's butchering most of the names, including the name of the race itself. I think that's the next area of focus for professional sports commentators.

the czech comentator is of the same quality, in minimum. the english comentator has to learn how to pronounce "Pardubice", "Kaiserwalzer", and the names of the czech riders und horses. necessarily!!

This is often a problem for foreign jockeys. They come one day before to study the course and hurdles. Sometimes they get used to following home jockeys. Home jockeys and many visitors know this course by heart.
