Was at Spotsylvania right before you visited, judging by the season in the video. My parents were visiting me in DC, and my dad and I both being CW history buffs, visited this battlefield. Very tragic and hallowed ground, puts Gettysburg to shame in my opinion
Very cool. It’s a great place to visit and very tragic.
Masterful video using season, time of day, camera angles, and judicious use of narration. Emotion with subtlety 👍🏻
Thank you! Thanks for watching
Man, you are the master of the battlefield walk through. Camera shots, narrative and storytelling are as good as it gets. Can't wait for the next on either.
Thanks a lot. Right around the corner new market
I don't know why, but everything about that battlefield looks ominous and foreboding.
It’s because it is lol thanks for watching. You are correct, that place is creepy and inspiring too
The violent battle of the civil war. Slaughter on both sides, so horrific to talk about
Very horrific
Thank you. I have visited Spottsylvania several times, but always during "full growth" of vegetation. Your video provides a different perspective.

Out of all the different videos of Spotsylvania THIS ONE is by far the BEST!! Thank you for actually showing the apex of the earthworks!! That was very detailed and a lot of confusion I had is now gone! 👍🫡
Thank you, you made my day. Some videos I get my point across pretty good. Others I could use work on. I always like hearing when people have things cleared up by watching the videos. Have a nice Monday.
Excellent video-I appreciate the mix of overall history but also some personal/firsthand accounts. And also great job showing the topography-must have been a horrific sight 160ish years ago.
Thank you, I appreciate you appreciating the topography! It’s the feel of the land the makes each place have a certain something that makes it special. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already be sure to subscribe and hit that notification bell for more videos coming up like this one!

Very cool. Thanks for watching
Interesting and really good sound/video for walking outside.
Thanks, I attribute that to my Rode microphone with cattail attachment. Really brings the noise down.
