Aurelia is a Cities: Skylines series focused on building a semi-realistic futuristic city. The city is influenced by cyberpunk and other sci-fi styles. It mostly revolves around a high-density urban theme with lots of verticality and elements that are either completely made up or inspired by cities and structures from all around the world, architectural concepts or flat out fiction. To achieve all this, the gameplay is heavily altered by mods. The city favours public transport and walking, but because of Aurelia’s role as a regional centre, there is an extensive highway network as well.

Aurelia ep. 96
This city looks like straight out of Cyberpunk anf every square-meter is perfect. Well done 👌🏻
Probably not cyberpunk since I think this is not a dystopia, but it definitely has a futuristic vibe.
@@junirenjana i mean the architecture looks just as incredible as in the game
@@junirenjana Well it reminds me of Rotterdam, just with a bigger population
@@stonedfinn3649 calling architecture of cyberpunk 2077 incredible is a joke.
@@OliverFlinn why exactly is the architecture of Cyberpunk a joke?
Looks amazing. Thank god this isn’t a roller coaster like 90% of tram/metro/train videos in cs. Well done!
That's because he took care to respect the fact trains/trams have limited elevation grades and radii. He has a tutorial video on how to make realistic grades and radius curves for rail services
Especially liked the bit over the construction site, it's done very cleverly. Great work, interesting to see all the different parts from old episodes up close again!
That´s also my favorite part.....
But where is the overhead wire on that part?
@@NationalistsRuinAmerica A few sections are missing wires, then again, lots of modern tram systems cave to the fucking NIMBYs and ditch wires in the rich neighbourhoods, like the Parramatta light rail...
@@briannem.6787 smh wirephobic
@@briannem.6787 cursing isn’t cool dumbass
This is hands down one of the best first person rides I seen for CS! The infrastructure is awesome! I feel like a tourist here. Everything is so realistic, I'll excuse the skywalker at 10:56 :)...the construction section was a nice touch.
I'm speechless... I watched this stoned and admired every micro-second
That's amazing Akruas. The cities you make in CS are a whole different level from anything I've ever produced. Incredible. :)
This was such an amazing experience, this city is so magnificent and the details are amazing! I especially like the tunnels part, it looks so good and I have no idea how you managed to have a visible tunnels
I didn't do almost anything to the tunnels, they are the Clus's LRT tunnels out of the box.
@@Akruas wow, okay, I didn't now that, awesome
Oh wow. This is one of the most stunning cities I've seen. So elegant, clean and minimalist. I am usually not a fan of minimalism or rationalism but this work is fantastic and clever, adding warmth, color, liveability... Those river terraces, the several levels of highways and streets, the flowers, building's different shapes and heights. Not monotonous or dry at all. The part between 8:20-8:40 is beautiful! I'd love to live there.
I just noticed, that I am following this series since over three years now, and I am still always happy to see a new episode pop up in my Subscription Box. Continue your great work! Love it! :D
Simply gorgeous. The amount of detail you've put in is remarkable, and still there are hardly any glitches visible.
Also, 10:56 must be Luke Skywalker on the left side of the screen.
The map is so amazing, every nook is filled with life and infrastructure, and in general, I wish this was irl.
So nice to see this city so complete after so much time! Hope you can continue building it for a long time still. Other builders might do more detail or more realism, but your creativity and shier consistency really put you up there in the best of the best in C:S modelmaking. Cheers!
1:23 what a responsible driver, accelerating without checking for other trams xd
It's Cities Skyline, AI always does that.
Well real tram system would have light signals telling the drivers to go.
This looks fantastic. I’d love to see the light rail as well - particularly after watching you create the plaza and traffic light tutorial!
Nice. That was a very relaxing video, but the tram stop at 5:40 completely blew my mind because the prop of the sign is designed after a tram stop in the city I grew up in and one of the lines shown on it is the one I had to take every day on my way to school. what a detail :D
As far as I am concerned you, sir, just won cities skylines
10:13 Grandma straight up walks on air in the background before phasing through a building wall
Just one of the marvels of this sci-fi paradise of a city
The wait was worth it! Thanks for putting in all the effort, not the least being making all ceilings and preventing the skies from being visibile where it shouldn't be.
This is incredible!! how many hours do you have on this game be honest lmao
Well you can make a rough estimate by your own prediction. If you think he spends an average of 4 to 5 hours per episode, he is on 480 hours on this series alone.
If you think average of 2, it's arround 200 hours.
4 to 5 hours, i think he spent only on post-production of this video.
How many in the game itself?
Certainly a lot more... [LoL]
4830, probably third of that in this city.
@@Sir_Sheikhs_Pears yeah it was just an example
@@Akruas I immediatly thought: "thats crazy!", but then I saw my own hrs spend in game on steam... and I got a whole lot more in some games, and I have nothing to show for it :D
+ What an amazing city, I am in awe for 96 episodes straight
That was incredible. All the sounds made it so real. The construction site, with the tram detour through it was genius, especially with the change of sounds when changing onto the detour tracks. I'm overwhelmed.
Absolutely amazing ! You can see the amount of work that has been done ! When you pass the construction site is my favorite moment !
Despite your unbelivable attention to detail, in real life it would be a really terryfying place to live :O
So depressing
Why?
Favorite part was the shortest... The bypass moment. It told a great little story about an expanding part of your city... Would love to have seen a pull away shot for that. But then again, maybe the narrow aspect view is why it piqued interest. Also of great admiration... Your tunnels and sub level work.
Great design of the tram network, great looking city - thank you
The insane level of detail is amazing! Your really good at this.
I have to say that the train noises are well done and the view is great!
Great work on the tunnel interiors!
The detail is insane both visually and technically. It's almost like it's a real place.
Really great work! Aurelia helped me stay happy while stating at home. Thank you for all your effort over the past year and a half.
Incredibly realistic city view with stunning detalisation, esp tunnels. Amazing work!
The city looks stunnig. Incredible job, congratulations!!
Genuinely unbelievable levels of detailing. Really like the general style and planning of the city as well, manages look both grand and organic. Certainly wouldn't want to live there, but it is very cool to look at (now there's an description of modernist architecture).
This is the second cs tram ride i've been on, and both have been way better than the train ride into the city I physically live near. Would happy pay for this service if i had to use it, surprisingly interesting!
Oh my god you have Slovnaft Arena (or more known as Ondrej Nepela Stadium) in between your stadiums. It is home to my hometown ice hockey team Slovan Bratislava as well as Slovak National Team. I didn´t know that someone made this stadium in Cities Skylines, that´s awesome!
Just discovered that your destination boards (atleast the yellow ones) show the locations "Prohlis" and "Kleinschachwitz" - both locations in Dresden, Germany. Nice :) Btw: the smaller ones are from Berlin ("Rathausplatz") FYI
I'd love to live here. The roads, pedestrian pathway and metro system is beautiful and well thought out.
aurelia has always given me the feeling of being inside a giant stone sarcophagus, a very autumnal and dirgelike atmosphere
this city looks really realistic!!! including every details
Possibly the best tram ride video I’ve seen!
J'attendais cette vidéo depuis longtemps ! Cette ville et incroyable ! Great work ! Fantastic city :)
all of it was awesome but let me tell you... those tunnels with the lights and the concrete!? sooooooooo satisfying to watch! A+
Nice tour. The tram is certainly a lot safer for pedestrians than the buses we've seen in the bus ride video.
6:01 9:01 Idea for a mod: it would be cool if those station indicators actually would show where the next trains are going to (and when they will come). Here it looks like the trains in both directions go to the same target stations (Prohlis + Kleinzschachwitz at the first station, Westend + Hospital at the second).
nice tram ride and some great views, it also looks amazing i also like how you have added the construction site in.
finallyy, i was so hyped for this tram ride!! love this city
That. Was. Awesome!!!!...can't wait for more :D I think we all appreciate all the hard work you do for each and every episode :D
I'm such a sucker for your realism. You, Sir, are a king and put every CS player in place. Keep up your amazing work!
Absolutely amazing, that is one of the Best series I Nevers had seen before, congrat's and continue like this 😍
How people can make cities look so stunning is beyond me, this looks amazing.
Very nice!
That's totally the best city that I've seen
7:01 a wild taxi appeared!
Thats exactly the sound our tram in our city makes hehe
This was incredible! These are the views of Aurelia that I need!
I firmly believe that sometime in a hundred years, while Europe will become an open-air museum, today's children in Asia or America will experience similar cities. I wish them well (and I envy them). Amazing work. I wish Aurelia to be better and better.
This city is amazing looking. well done. I love how you made so many unique areas and its so futuristic. It kinda reminds me of the city in Crackdown
10:14 A pedestrian walking in the air
10:13 a person levitating and walking through wall 🙈
What Tram is that in Workshop? If I didn't know this was game video, I would have thought it real (ignoring the people animations, of course). This city is incredible. Well done. sir.
Alstom Loop
@@Akruas thank you
Sick, insane, crazy, WTF, surreal, etc.
This is super cool. City looks amazing!
Sounds exactly like the Trams in Munich lol , nice vid
Even after a year this look fabulous.
A city so focused on detail it could never be finished. The game would have a stroke before allowing that.
There is no city in the world that's designed so wel and beautiful, al the details, even spotted a Bugatti!! This is al done by one guy!! OMG!
Wow, that's a ridiculously good looking city!
The concrete sunken station is simply spectacular. It looks like a pic from Gattaca Or a kind of science fiction movie like that..
This entire series has given me Halo 2 vibes and I love it. I keep expecting a Hunter to break through the walls.
Damn when I see this I think, wtf am I doing in cities skylines hahah. This looks so damn nice
The level of detail , Incredible in my book .
I really like these kinds of videos. Maybe for some extra realism or immersion you could add a tram ring when people don't look before they cross like at 10:04
I need to build cities of this kind of detail, this is like 90x better than the ones I make
Very nice! Love IT!!!
Exceptional. Absolutely impressive.
Haha saw the Slovnaft arena :-D incredible i wonder if you are from Czechia or Slovakia. Awesome work anyways.
design-wise, it's probably better to allow pedestrians to promenade next to the river as opposed to giving it all to the tram, and also have barriers at the place near the end of the video to distinguish pavement from tram tracks
Just WOW.
cool with a little bit of Denmark in your city
Ok, ngl, I was wondering which tram line you'd do and if it'd be one of the lines that don't go underground, but I'm glad you did one of the cool lines that has a substantial subway section.
Compact rail lines are just so satisfying
Unbelievable job city looks so good a lot of hard work you have to make more cities
Amazing work as always. I would like to request a highway video for the next tour
hmm. from the tram's view this is a pretty normal city. It's only when looking down on everyhting from the upper levels that you know how special it is.
Incredible!
Gorgeous city
Stunning.
WOW! this is SOOO AWESOME!!!!
So satisfying!
I hope the line won’t end where it ends today, but apart that this video left me speechless
9:56 Bike is sinking into the platform.
Amazing city!!
Amazing!
The 8 minute mark was so beautiful
Swe: Fantastisk åktur den är här spårvagnshytt videon är otroligt bra gjort med både ljud och bild bra gjort: "Akruas".
Eng: Fantastic ride this tram cab the video is incredibly well done with both sound and picture well done: "Akruas".
The sound seems to be from a AEG / Adtranz GT* (GTxN/M/S)
maybe a little dystopic graffiti in the tunnels?
To chce dobrý počítač, milion hodin práce a hlavně nápad. SUPER. ;-)
the trams are fast and appear futuristic
yes
youre not a gamer, youre an artist
This is really pleasant to watch. Though the relaxing vibe is spoiled a little with the cyclists and pedestrians who casually cross the track as the tram is approaching. 😩
It's nice to see the shinsegae store :)
