She's literally just one unit higher than deadweight there and that one unit was her intelligence and genjutsu sensing/resistance ability. In Part 2, SHE WAS NOT USELESS. It's just her development came to a halt or dropped at turtle speed again after the Sasori encounter, then since there were shortages of medical ninja on teams (especially as talented as Sakura), she has to be more passive and more on support type during battles even she has great fighting ability (remember, she adapted to Sasori's fighting style which is way above her league that's why she needed help of Granny Chiyo at first, thus drastically raising her fighting ability afterwards). Even in the war, Sasuke and Naruto charged on while Sakura stayed back to heal everyone who was injured. She's not useless. It's just she's a hybrid ninja type and takes on support roles occassionaly especially in presence of hard carries (Sasuke and Naruto). But I think if she would be fighting alongside other hybrid, supports, or even semi-carries, she will probably take on the carry role or at least semi-carry. But people just won't try to understand that.
I remember once, Sakura removed a column of a sail boat and swung it around and smashed clones in a mission with Team 7 without Kakashi. That was even before she was trained by Tsunade. She really must have been training sooo hard in taijutsu all alone while Naruto is with Jiraiya and Sasuke is with Kakashi.
There’s also the fact that when team seven went to train with the sennin, Orochimaru would just be lazy and teach him every once in a while and with jaraiya it would be train a bit and then peek at girls n stuff and they slept and traveled a lot so they didn’t do much work but then with Sakura it was basically fight or die
Many people say that hinata should've gotten the main lead of someone else honestly u can have ur opinion but Sakura did her job as to being a lead good she's someone who is supposed to be not the same like everyone they all came from major clans with parents who were well respected shinobis on top of that she got paired up with geniuses and was many steps behind them they all dint even train that well and got their powers stronger she is someone who is supposed to be realistic and kishimoto made her that way he did regret making her at some point cause so many fans hated her for no better reason he gave her character development and alot things more and made her the strongest kuniochi in the boruto era yet its like nobody noticed she has very high emotions idk why people say she's weak she cries she is supposed to be realistic thats why tell me what would u do when everyone around u was already born genius and ur just some girl who can't do much but is really book smart I think she remind she alot of Hermione from Harry Potter she's supposed to be really smart while being a muggle born unlike some of her class mates which makes her to be bullied seems similar to me overall Sakura is a great kuniochi and a mother she isnt obsessed with sasuke cause of his looks cause if she her then what about the other girls ino ?Karin? They wouldn't come their to save him from the darkness and risk their life Sakura did that cause she wanted to help Naruto by not letting him kill sasuke and instead take the pressure on herself she genuinely cared about her comrades her confession was for helping Naruto to get better because the leaf was gonna kill sasuke but Naruto dint know cause Sakura told everyone not to tell him it would've hurt him and she just tried to make things better idk why the fan base hates her so much but when someone like ino or hinata sacrifices themselves for their loved ones its loved by all she inspires me alot honestly she's really unique and a different character and she and rock lee prove that hard work surpasses any power
