tried similar recently with my wang but put it under the cabin (behind the cockpit). not bad against low-riding cars with generators but useless against anything else. very limited firing angle. ultimately i found that it works best mounted upright right on top of frames with an averter under it. combine with Deadman and small tracks and it's very effective. as long as you don't sit down in front of an opponent with it.
i got one Fortune for a similar experiment, but found that it can't be flipped upside down like every other weapon. disappointing use of coins.

Does it get de-gunned easily? If not, then that's some nice building skills. Let me guess - shoot-through and blast-resistant parts attached in a way that they lead to the cab in the end? Or to frames. Nice build!

it can take abit of beating but not much (the top part) heavy explosive aoe will degun it quickly, but with enough experience u get a good feeling with what u can get away with etc
the regular mounted version last abit longer but the fire angles, since u can aim down are quiet bad at times and can make u miss an easy frag, thats why i made it like it is here
at the end of the day, both versions work fine, its just prefference at this point
