I like to imagine the director actually sees and presses those exact same buttons with the beautiful drawings when everyone plays.
I would personally change so aspects to give it more life, like the "Currency" would probably more akin to promince's soul energy that the humans turn into money, like in a way a piece of him stays to summon his Object souls to defend their planet.
So in turn no money dollar, to reflect this the color will be light blue, the burst will be Green and the drawings would reflect a bit of the enemies' personality based on their logs(Ie Lemurian's playfulness and curisoty, Wisp's gift of soul and life, Imp's distain to being stuck here and the soulesness of Mithrix's chimeras.)

Im pretty sure silly goose gaming's little brother was actually playing and his controller was unplugged, he was blindfolded and was lagging the whole time. The real silly goose gaming has a power beyond our comprehension.

@@huskykid0295 Blight is generally regarded as the worst passive in the game when compared to poison, alongsides the fact that to even slightly outclass it you need an unfeasible amount of items for it to even work "well"
@@Iranofideaswhilewritingthis334 damn I guess Astro lied to me. I have always used blight since I mostly need to worry about killing small groups of enemies early, late game bosses I just rely on royal capacitor with a shit ton of fuel cells and gesture of the drowned to kill anything I look at. Or just trophy hunters trihorn. His guild also suggested going heretics M1 since that hits way more often and from afar so you get way more stacks of blight on something. Sometimes I also use a mod called acrid overhaul which allows blight to be refreshed. But that mod also makes poison lethal so win win.

If you guys were smart you would wait to spawn anything until max credits, or they started the boss, and the spawned all the wisps at once as they wouldn’t have items and it would be incredibly difficult to get more until the stage cleared
That actually doesn't work at all, since the normal director still spawns things, the player can get credits anyway and then you're just stuck at max credits while they loot (would be smart if it worked that way tho)
Ah so the game works normally, but you could spawn extra mobs @@trentomento
@@donnovanash2334 yep! I'm not sure if the default spawn rate is lowered to balance it or if it's totally default but yeah there are enemies by default even if I don't spawn anything, granted it's a new mod so maybe they will add options to change that part!

yeah I'd watch a recurring series on the player director mod.

"Insta" win on this, you wait a really long time, spawning nothing so that they don't get any cash then spawn everything at once overwhelming them since they are really under levelled for those enemies and too low on items to do anything about it
I thought about this strategy but normal world spawns still happen so they can get money and items, and you have a credit limit, so once you hit your limit you can't get more credits. I did do a video from the other point of view as the director you should check out!
I can't figure out how to actually play as director. Downloaded the mod and played with my friend but both of us spawned in normally and nothing changed, we just played vanilla ror2.
Hmm I know it has had some issues with bugs but also if you are using modded characters it won't work, other than that it should be working, if not maybe check around the mod website and see if they have solutions as it's a pretty new mod

if ya do make it a more refined mod/dos this more, make a mod to limit some items, so you can only get a handful of say gasonline and ignition tanks at say 3 or something sense its hard to really counter AOE damage but thats just my opinion/we also could look to a summoner type of surviver to with this idea... another idea is to on higher difficulty makes the director players cred gain higher so you can equal that difficulties mod count
I wish I knew how to make mods cause I could tweak it a lot, but this mod is very new so I'm excited for how it'll change, but I totally want to do this again on monsoon and with maybe certain artifacts on to increase the chaos
@@trentomentoim glad ya want to do this, you maybe able to poke around and comission a ror2 modder to help with this as its clear what ya doing needs a better hand to make it function. as intended but if theres anything a pair of youtuber can get is someone to to help make this into something both you and the rest of us in the community can enjoy till ror:returns happens.

wish ya luck as i got my own mod hunt to have happen.@@trentomento for any curosity i was playing the house mod and wildcarded into a surviver i have no idea who they are but their kit i found REALLY FUN, armed with a hammer and mini gun *4th ability is the swap* they had some devilish capaisty and fun but i have no idea if its a surviver mod to exist or not. thus i am always looking
