Amazing his facial abilities. This is way before CGI. Of course he is most likely lip syncing to the recording, but if not even more amazing.
They didn't lip sync back then. Any live performance was the artist or band legit singing.
Remember, there was only vinyl records back then and it would be easy to tell if a recording was playing because there would be scratching or other sounds.

Watch clips from Ed Sullivan and other variety shows of the time. Often there are NO mics on the drums, no cords from guitars or organs. It was an accepted practice for quite some time. I was a teen during this time so know this first-hand.

Why did I choose to listen to this song? It's no surprise to me that it's the #1 Halloween song. It's, however, still perfect for the Bravestarr Dark Child soundtrack. In spite of the fact that he's a monster created by a mad scientist.
