We have to be truly honest with ourselves and lower our expectations with this current Ghana Black Stars team. Ghana football in every level is regressing. We must focus on improving our youth systems and programs and be in a complete rebuild with our young players who we see have great potential with few experienced players like Thomas Partey, Alexander Djiku, and Inaki Williams retained. We have to accept that we will not do well at this Afcon tournament with these players. Nonetheless, we need to hire a young, promising, dynamic, and innovative coach who can use this tournament to not only grow with the team but also develop our young, up and coming players as preparation for our future World Cup qualification matches. World Cup 2026 Qualification should be our ultimate goal. Therefore, the coach should be sacked now.
