@@sexobscura fuck off, this album was recorded with Steve Vai, Ginger Baker and Bill Laswell you muppet. If you think Lydon is tripe you know fuck all about music.
I had this on Betamax! Naturally, my machine died and I could never see it again. Until now! Great stuff! I've got my ticket for Brixton. Whatever you do, don't bring any butter along to the shows.
This is my all time favourite live version of HOME, the whole song is superbly executed ..it is a fantastic peice of art...what a band ! i will see you guys( with new line up) at Glasgow .
Superb live versions (except the sound quality, of course:) )! The very begining of probably the best PIL line-up. I would love to see the whole concert in good sound quality!
Loved his suits amazing style this was the time chinos were the fashion still look cool now.he had Great style very articulate and bright and interesting now back in court over pistol tvshow

The P.I.L sound change whit a other Great 🎸 player. What is a New PIL Sound: Evolution Revolution Creativity. That is the definition of Public Image Limited!
was any 1 at chippenham golddiggers in 87 when while playin holidays in the sun as the encore lydon n McGeoch stopped the gig cause some arse kept gobbin at them n McGeoch encouraged the audience to sort the culprit out?
The story is Allan Dias completely fell out of PiL and was sent to rehab. He retired from music and got healthy. He's a family man and cyclist, he enjoys life.
And yet the song “Disappointed” from the album 9 is what put them on the map in America, and on one of the biggest American tours with The Sugarcubes and New Order. Then “Don’t Ask Me” sold so much they ran out of pressings. Don’t ask me to explain my countrymen. The English seem to know better music. 🤷🏼♂️
@@matthewwarbasse6621 While "Don't ask me" is quite a mediocre song (well, might be there's something important in the lyrics which I'm not familiar with), especially as for PIL, "Disappointed" is a superb song. As is the entire "9" album in most of its parts.
John McGeoch, what a great guitarist RIP
RIP John MCGeoch...great tone on this
I was a PIL freak back in those days. I played Cassette so much that the tape warped.

Anyone who thinks the 80s was shite needs to listen to this and apologise

I’m John and I’ve got flu
Why no Alan Dias in the reformed line up ???
The ex - Spice Girls bassist is actually doing a great job at ressembling Wobble

If pil album cassette had come out in 1982, after Flowers of Romance, and then he had stopped forever, all would be forgiven.
I quite like the cassette after _Cassette._ Each album has unique merits. Nothing to forgive there.
