Every Night is a single by Aotearoa/NZ band Ardijah. In order to celebrate 40 years of being a band on the music scene, Ardijah has kicked off celebrations with this release.
Every Night is a song written by Paul McCartney in 1970 while he was on holiday in Greece and contemplating on the imminent breakup of The Beatles. For Ardijah though, the version of the song remembered and close to their community (in South Auckland) during the '70s was by Phoebe Snow in 1978.
The meaning of this rendition of Every Night, for Ardijah, is around Whanau (family), Kotahitanga (togetherness or being "as one"), and aroha (love or more closely; sharing oneself with others and accepting others with a true unbiased or judgmental nature).

They are going around to everyone to listen to specially homeless..poverty..the less fortunate..those families that are struggling..words and your beats help me understand and see and picture the songs that help me look after our people..your songs from old school is encouraging..I walk around the streets with my ear phones on volume on high..and I see people begging people making there bed people getting fed from many volunteers and organizations and only words and music help me understand the story of struggle the neglected those who are walked passed.the system jail..those been ward of state..I realized that music helped me and many others get through some tough battles remembering why I play the songs and hearing this song reminded me of all the hard struggles I've had and many others well u ardijah created more music more beats well things still stayed the same for many of us I am proud that u bloomed to understand you your words u sing the story behind it.. please make more and encourage the change for all our people..
