    I walk my dog daily, and many of these items are in my bag or on my person every day.light, poncho, compass, small first aid kit, shoelaces, extra dog leash, snacks, 2-5 liters of water depending upon weather, dog bowl, extra socks, gloves, scarf, bandana, neck gaiter, cap and knit hat, cordage and straps, in case I see something at a yard sale or on the curb and it doesn't fit in the pack, a knife, two bic lighters, notepad, two pens, cell phone, kubotan, diamond sharpening stone, sidearm, extra magazine and brass knuckles and space blanket. And this just for walking the dog in small town Iowa where it is pretty much crime free and I won't get lost. Why carry all that? 1) I might need a piece of it someday, 2) it is such good practice to carry a 15-22 pound pack every day. If I have to carry a 40-60 pound pack someday to get groceries or supplies home I'll at least have some practice.

      Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it 🤘

    I just heard about the Grayl a few weeks ago and bought one. Looking forward to trying it out. Got the orange, was on sale ten bucks less than the others. Orange was my first choice anyways. Hi-vis.

      Its sooooo much lighter than carrying actual water with you, works pretty much anywhere and actually purifies water. The trifecta. Itll be much harder to lose thats for sure. Enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

      Thank you for checking out the video 🙏 some of the gear can get a little pricy. I do like the less expensive options as they tend to work just as good if not better most times. Been to Kentucky many times and absolutely love it there! I appreciate the views my friend. Stay safe out there 🤘

    What’s up Brian. I’m using my wife’s account. Anyways, I subscribed this morning. Got it keep it real for my Ohio native!! I represent the 216 & the 330. I believe you may be near the Ashland area. Great content, keep up the good work! Would love to see an overnighter, building a shelter with natural material.

      Thats awesome you are using her account! I'm sure she won't mind at all. Thank you for your support. I really appreciate it. Thats right gotta stick together and keep it legit for O-H-I-O. I am relatively near the Ashland area and camp there quite often. Thank you, ill always do my best to keep it interesting. Life's an adventure so get it on camera 🤘 I believe i can accommodate that request. Most of the places I camp aren't cool with constructing shelters unfortunately. I am always looking for new areas. That being said keep your eyes peeled 👀 that very video could be coming soon 👍

    Cook set is not one of the 10 C’s. 😂
    I think you missed cover. The shemagh isn’t going to protect you in a downpour.
    Other than that great choices and vid.

    • @the419outdoors
      @the419outdoors  Před 3 lety +3

      The cook set isn't a 10 c item but the container it could be used as is 👍 Agreeably the shemagh won't do anything for rain but it is cover for your head and neck in cold or hot conditions which are more likely than rain. This isn't a 10 C's video, it just so happens most of these items fall in that category. Thanks for checking out the video and I appreciate the support 🙏 Stay dirty my friend 🤘🌳🌲

      @@the419outdoors, I know it wasn’t a 10 C’s video. No dis on your cookset it’s a great piece of gear, just a joke since you did have the C’s covered. 👍

      @@NobleSavage44 for sure, no worries 👍 I'd say it's either a coincidence that it came out that way or good training 🤷😂
