fr tho if there’s traffic in the vally here in utah. JUST HOP OFF THE FREEWAY AND TAKE ONE OF THE MAIN ROADS. you can get up to 40mph on almost every big main road and it will be a LOT FATSTER to get to where ur going than you waiting for the “traffic” on the freeway. everyone here in the vally thinks it’s so big and everything is far but tbh literally everything is so close and it’s actually not that big of a city. you can literally get from one side of the vally to the other in under 50 mins easily without taking the freeway. idk why people complain about that here because if you go to literally any other city it’s going to take you about 1- 2.5 hours to go the same distance here that takes you 40 mins 😂😂

You didn’t mention the Mormons running the legislature. Not being able to buy beer after 1:00 or liquor at all, outside liquor store hours. Alcohol laws in general treat 65-year-old adults as children. The laws that prohibit adult oriented businesses. The general stale, boring vibe. Edit: Lack of high-end shopping. SLC barely has a Nordstrom, and they have bad selection even for a Nordstrom. Literally nowhere to buy an actually stylish t-shirt or pair of shoes. Nowhere. Gotta head to LA or Las Vegas to even do basic shopping for clothes. Ridiculous.

For being a major metro area, Salt Lake actually really doesn't have bad traffic at all. It's only ever bad during rush hour on major highways, but traffic is almost nonexistent like 20 hours out of the day.
Like, you can drive from Ogden to Salt Lake in about 30-45 minutes even when there's "bad" traffic. That's about the same distance as Irvine to Los Angeles, which with traffic easily takes like an hour and fifteen mintues.

The better Geno plays, the worse Russ’ Seattle days look. Pete Carroll has been great with every single QB going back to college.

Unfortunately racism can be found in every state of our nation. It's hard to take your first point seriously however when you then turn around and implying your hate for mormons. You can't have it both ways.

You totly missed the 3 biggest reasons. 😮
Church State liquor stores and church state liquor laws.
These effect the way bars tenders can make drinks when you go out to eat. And effect what you can buy. They decide what they put in the stores run by the church.
Its a don't drink but here's our choices for you if you do senerio...
    Also
The LDS populated areas. If you live in one and aren't. Its like a big click of nice people you have nothing in common with.can be wierd.
    Interesting place Utah.
Funny you listed no ocean issue.. thats most of America

I lived in Utah until I was 38 and The so-called lakes in Utah are all reservoirs for the most part and are ugly and low with no sand except for yuba Lake. Bear Lake is freezing cold but at least it's an actual lake.
