Man , I gotta say , I really , really enjoy your channel. I'm 52yrs old and started collecting comics at about 5 - 6yrs old. Hulk was my favorite MCU character and still is. I have every issue from #102 up to mid 400's , including an original Hulk #4. I stopped collecting in the early 90's really , and thanks to your channel and the work you have done , it's kind of like a refresher course for me over the past 30 years. Just really wanted to say thanks for what you do.

The fight with Man-thing was in 1995 when professor Hulk feared losing control and turning savage, feared losing Betty, and other things. By the time of World War Hulk he had been exiled from earth, lost all he knew, was nearly killed, found and lost the wife he had always needed and wanted. By that time he had nothing to lose in his mind, and therefore nothing to fear.
The Professor Hulk has shown fear in the past. It was in The Incredible Hulk annual #19. Lazarus used his telekinesis to wield Ulysses plasma sword. He held the blade to the Professor Hulks neck. He could have beheaded him. Todd Hunter gave him a warning instead of finishing the fight. The asgardian weapon was sharp enough to pierce the Hulks skin. As Lazarus was leaving .The sword was thrust into the Hulks right knee. The green goliath screamed in agony. The question is. Why was the Professor Hulk afraid? Here are my two theories. `1: It was Bruce Banners mind in the Hulks body. Which explains why he was scared. 2: He didn't know if he could regenerate another head. If he was decapitated.
World war hulk proves so many times he can even go beyond forces he shouldn't. Professor x has trouble reading his mind and now he is shown he is beyond even fear.

Oh, god, no. Man-Thing is just a semi-sentient plant creature. Doesn't even have a mouth. Albert suffered from delusions brought on by a traumatic childhood. He believed that by kidnapping the kids and killing them, he was saving them from their abusive parents. Man-Thing just shows up due to people feeling strong emotions. It can sense them, you see. It gets drawn in by them at times.
have just read this comic and then end is a bit missed to me because man thing soon forgot he was fighting the prof hulk(banner) just turned around and walked a way when he got out of the swamp if that's the case then yes i would after put swamp thing a head but only just

Retcon is such an ugly word..I prefer “adding additional details.” At least if it makes for some cool stories. In any case the green scar wasn’t even a dormant personality like Joe fixit or devil hulk are he’s was created in response to landing on sakkar and bruce and hulks minds acting in cooperation.
Theres like millions of comic books out there it’s understandable you’re not gonna be able to read everyone. After Watchmenin 1985 and other comics like The Dark Knight Returns mainstream comic books got darker

Dude that was an alternate reality Hulk not this Hulk, and no he didn't do it pretty easily. The hacker Ghost turned on the nanobites in Hyperion which severely damaged him and knocked him unconscious and that's when Man-Thing touched him.
@@3912James king hyperion killed hulk with one punch. He also killed galactus and the celestials I know bad writing . Regular Hyperion is like Thor he knows Banner and hulk are the same and different and with that he doesn't fight hulk he fights banner and goes easy

Even if that's true, he feeds on the fear of others, not his own. And if he gets too afraid, angry, excited...whatever...he shifts into Savage Hulk.
