Mouse Branch Loop 4K

After our failed attempt at getting to the lake via the "trail to the lake" in the campground ... we made our way up to the trailhead to do the Mouse Branch loop.
This was a pretty easy hike with one nice overlook (you have to take the overlook trail - which is off of Mouse Branch) - it's worth going to check out. This time of year there wasn't much to see otherwise - just another hike through the forest. The trail was muddy in a few spots - but nothing unmanageable.
Things to note ... there is a schedule for bikes and horses - but hikers can use the trail at any time (personal recommendation is to hike when there's no mountain bikers). The trail is also directional - but they've got it well marked at all main junctions. Overall, a relatively easy hike.
