We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning czcams.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

This is not teardown!!! You only disassembly a charging port.
Yeah, and tearing out the waterproof seal and not replacing it. Did I just see that?
That (gasket?) you removed @ 4:59 and didn't replace -- does that have something to do with waterproofing?

Also it is to increase air pressure during low frequency which help to produce more bass.

*Nice work I like it I also have a charge 3 but fake I tried to battle with my brother's fake charge 2 when we started playing different music my one just instantly won! when the music was started we both turned up the volume full up and even my brother's speaker was at full volume this one beated on half volume!!* I like how that it is fake but still good

you removed the gasket but did not replace it. The waterproof seal is broken

I cannot find a motherboard replacement for the TT version of he JBL Charge 3 I can only find the GG version. Any recommendations???

Looks like you were doing it for the first time. You must first remove the back cover and then the front cover.

I broke the clips on my speaker because I followed this video and thought you open the front first but you are supposed to open the back first. I have no idea how this guy opened his. maybe there are 2 different versions
@@savnoorsamra3597 that's true. There are 2 different versions. GG and TL. TL was the one shown in the video.

My fake pulse 3 stopped working a long time ago. So I bought at 3.7 volt 2200mah battery from amazon. Installed it and it worked like a charm. After 15-20 min of playback, I put it on charge via my mobile charger. It was again the same problem, it felt like battery was not getting charged, rather it was getting damaged while charging. Suddenly speaker woke itself and made cracking creaking sound with couple of blinks and turned off. Now it doesn't respond if I try to turn on or charge it. Can you help????

You forgot to reapply the waterproof protection on the components board

***MAKE SURE YOU SEAL IT BACK UP OR LOSE MOST IF NOT ALL YOUR BASS***
Waterproofing isn’t the issue, it’s the fact that these JBLs are made using a “Sealed enclosure” and passive radiators
What this means is that the two radiators on either side that you can see vibrating actually don’t have any electrical power going to them. They’re instead, “powered” by the air pressure generated by the small tweeter/drivers under the mesh that you don’t see.
For the passive radiators to function, the entire enclosure must be completely air tight, otherwise you lose essentially all the bass these speakers produce….
The more air tight the better….

hi, my jbl charge 3 battery is draining fast? do u know a solution or should i ask for a battery replacement?
probably you need a battery replacement. After many charging cycles the capacity of the battery lowers drasticaly. I have this speaker for 3 years now, it cannot play for more than 3 minutes on max volume if its not pluged on the wall. Im changing the battery soon.

How do I know what model I have?
In the flap for the charging port, there is a white sticker. The first letters on the sticker will be either TL or GG. This video is for the TL only.
Now i see, mine is gg model! Thats why the tweeter is in different position.
