  • On Yom Kippur, we plead with God for forgiveness and reassess our life. Here is a powerful clip from Rabbi Sacks zt"l talking about how to find your purpose in life, which he describes as: "Where what you want to do meets what needs to be done, that is where God wants you to be."

Toda. I had been questioning myself for a decade about the purpose of my life, "Why God created me? What's the purpose of my life? Was asking many people and pastors, but none of them satisfied my question. Thank you. NOW I have found the answer to the purpose of my life. Thank you for this wisdom. May his memory be for a blessing! 🙏

Rabbi Sacks touches my soul and the meaning of the privilege of being a Jew. I continue to read and read many of Rabbi Sacks’ books and in addition also look so forward every week to print off for Shabbas what the Rabbi Sacks Trust puts forth on our computers. He gives meaning to my life as the modern day prophet of today that sheds light on our gratitude and honor to Hashem --purpose and our love for doing Hashem’s purpose for us.

Beautiful compassion, for others and self, expressed with great wisdom. Indeed, during the High Holy Days, we must be forgiving not only of others, but also ourselves. May these sentiments bring peace - shalom, salaam!
