Canva Logo Tutorial - How to make a logo in Canva (2021)

- It's time to learn how to make a logo in Canva. It's 2021 and you can't continue being a creative without creating your own logo. I'll take you step by step through the process of how to create your logo.
But here's the thing... watch the entire video because you don't want to create a logo that sucks. Yup I said it. You really want to create a professional logo.
I know what you're thinking... "I'm not a graphic designer! I just started using Canva! I can't do this!"
BREATHE... creating your logo is a creative process. And remember, you can always transform it into whatever you'd like as your brand grows. It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to represent you.
If you've worked with me before, or if you've ever attended any of my live workshops, you know I always tell you to find a space.
Find a relaxing space. Grab your tea or coffee or... something a little harder - if you're over 21 lol - then get to creating. This should be a release of your creativity. This is a fun process if you let it be.
Don't put a time limit on your designing process. If it doesn't feel right, take a break and come back another day.

Thabk you. Im glad the video helped you. Now for some unrequited advice lol. Be creative and have fun BUT use their templates lol. When you're starting out it's so much easier to just start with what they have then make it your own. When you jump into graphics do the same. Play with their effects and filters and make it your own but use the templates so you know the design is good. Have fun.

Logos are all about symbolism not to get too dark into the occult... bit that's what you are looking at a lot of times. The colors, numerology, symbols... it all creates an energy.
Made my logo and revise it daily. When I save it to my logo folder and pull it up later to design a label am I making a copy of it for the label so I don't alter the original? Also I see a very slight shadow of the white square box around my logo. I don't see it when I download it with a transparent background, but if I save it to my canva logo folder and pull it up to use in a design the white shadow is there. How do I eliminate the shadow? I know enough to be dangerous and not enough to be efficient.

i was under the impression that you are not supposed to use CANVA clip art on the logos. 🤯
You can upload your own clipart or create new vector designs. This video was focused on the tech but the legal... that's another story lol.
